Try making love to her.

You smile at Tomi, who does not return it. Shrugging your shoulders, you reach out to her and pull her down. She does not resist, and her hands mechanically come around you. Her expression is blank, but you try to kiss her anyway.

"I want you Tomi." you whisper, kissing her on the lips. She does not respond, her lips are slack. You try again, using your tounge this time, but she merely allows you to do what you want, opening her mouth to allow you entry. The same occurs when you try to touch her. She allows the contact, but does not encourage you in any way.

After a few more minutes, you give up, disgusted. You roll to your side, and let her lie there. She looks at you, puzzled.

"I told you I would satisfy you." she says in her bizarre flat voice.

"I don't want you like this." you respond, looking back over your shoulder. "If you're just doing this to satisfy me, you can forget it."

"But you want me." She says, her hands pulling at your shoulders.

"But you don't want me." you reply, giving her an appraising stare. "Maybe.... I mean, If you want to give yourself to me, fine. But I don't want you to screw me because you feel obligated."

"I thought...." she says in the flat voice, before it cracks slightly. You think you see tears in her eyes, and her hands on your shoulders come away.

"I do want you, Tomi." you reassure her, rolling over, "and I hope, one day, we can be together, but not like this. Not because you think it's what I want."

She nods, and the tears in her eyes spill out over her cheeks. Unable to watch without doing something, you stretch out your arms, and hold pull her close to you. This time, she seems to melt against your chest, and sobs rack her body. You hold her for a long time, just feelig her against your body, and trying to comfort her.

Eventually, Tomi falls asleep, the tears still wet on her cheek. You watch her for a while, taking in her beauty. You hope, with time, she will recover from the terrible ordeal she has been through.
