Try diplomacy

You would probably just retreat at this point but if this text box says that diplomacy is an option than it worth a try. After all you are "cute" and it always helped you.

"Hello!?" You say loudly and step out of the woods. You are still ready for a combat and hold both your shield and hatchet in a ready position.

Goblins react to your appearance with panic: they jump up, start running around, screaming... Maybe charging them was a better idea after all. They look extremely **** right now.

Anyway, this chance is lost and you patiently wait for them to calm down. It took awhile but finally they form something looking like a combat line protecting the largest goblin who still hugs the doll. He must be in charge.

"You human want what?" He asks looking straight at you.

"Emmm" You look at their sharp swords and totally dislike your chances should they decide to attack. Also, the mere fact that their leader can talk means that this group is not completely stupid "That doll. " You gather all your courage and finish the sentence "It is not yours and I want it back"

"Me doll is" Goblin answers angrily "You go away"

"No. Give it to me" It is hard to hide your fear but you are doing your best to try to sound confident and calm.

"Why give it me you? You give back thing need I?"
