Try apartment No. 18

You go up to apartment No. 18 and knock on the door. To your surprise you actually hear someone inside, stopping just at the door. You can hear their light breathing as they look through the door peeper.

"Oh my gosh, you're still alive?!" You hear him cry out. It's defiantly Jo's voice. "Wait I'm gonna let you in, hang on a second." The door clicks several times, as he unlocks frankly a comical amount of locks, but after a few moments the door creaks open, and he hurries you in. "Come in, quickly, I'm only inviting you over."

You wander into his living room as he locks the door behind him. It's a rather nice place, with nice solid furniture and shag carpeting. You peek in the kitchen. Its a mess and emits dubious odors, but the rest of the apartment is quite clean if a little dusty.

He puts a hand on your shoulder that makes you jump. "I had no idea you were still alive! Why didn't you tell me, I would've let you bunker down here with me!" He invites you to sit on the couch as he sits down in an armchair. You tell him that you had no idea he was still alive either. "Hah, this is pretty funny. I'm surprised I didn't hear you through the wall, guess the old landlord installed some pretty good soundproofing huh." He chuckles. "I've mostly been painting and training, not really much to do here, wouldve been nice to have someone around to talk to. I even read all my books," he waves his hand in the direction of the bookcase, "and there's a lot of them."

"Oh how rude of me! Wait, I think I still have some tea bags left, sit tight i'll make you some tea." He sits up and struts with a spring in his step to the kitchen.
