Take a peek into his bedroom

You take the opportunity to sneak about his apartment and look around. You know he told you to sit tight, but you just can't resist poking your nose about. You open the door to his bedroom slightly, and peek through inside.

It's pitch black, you can hardly see inside, but a sudden growling noise takes you by surprise. There's something in there, and you hear it thrash against a wall. Now you just have to enter and take a look! So you do, opening the door as much as you can to let in as much light as possible. Contrast to the rest of the apartment, this room is barely furnished, no furniture or decor at all. Just a few paint cans and peeling wallpaper. You squint into the dark, some sort of figure on their knees leaning against a corner. Is that... Susanne, you other next door neighbour? She's wearing some sort of muzzle, but there's no mistaking that's her! What is Jo doing with her?! You walk towards her, but her sudden growling makes you think that getting too close to her is a bad idea. Has she turned?

You're not given much time to think about it, as just at that moment, something heavy and hard hits you over the head, making a metallic 'ptang!' noise, and you fall to the floor.
