Try and reason with her.

You decide to try and reason with her. "Valerie, please... Let's not ruin what we have," you say while trying to reason with her sense. But suddenly you hear Valerie start to laugh. "You know what's funny, I was thinking the same thing too," She says with a chuckle.

This gives you a brief period of relief, but then you can hear her whisper in your ear. "But then some of our friends wanted to be more than friends with you. Meanwhile, I've always held back..." She says while looking away from you. "I told myself that I didn't want to ruin what we have, what we built up over the years," she says in a wary voice.

She then sits up straight and looks you in the eyes. "But then you show up today dressing a bit different, and I couldn't keep my eye off you. I try to tell myself not to. That you were my best friend, and that I will lose you," she says with a sigh.

Then you notice that she starts to blush.

"Then I start to realize something hidden within me... I... Never wanted anyone before in my life," she says while looking into your eyes. Looking into them you can see the hunger in her eyes, a desire. "I wanted you..." she says in a low whisper.

You try to use your brain to come up with a response. But nothing comes up, not with your heart going 100 miles an hour. All of this is new to you...

The ordinary life that you have been living through the years has been flipped within a day.

Before you can say anything the bell rings. Which gives you a reason to escape. "I... I gotta go!" you say quickly getting up from your seat and running out into the hallway.

All you can hear behind you is Valerie's sweet giggle.
