What's next?
Try and Look Away.
“Sorry. I didn't know you were here.” I looked away.
“It's quit alright. Can you hand me my robe?” She pointed.
“Sure.” I said and turned grabbing it where she had folded it and put it on a rock.
“Feeling better?”
“Yes. Thank you.” I nodded.
“You can look if you like. I am not shy about my body.” She said and I gave her a good look over.
“Damn.” I said saying the first thing that came to mind.
“Thank you. Ventus.” She said as she held her hands down and moved them upward. Wind swirled around her naked body. Air sweeping her hair upward before falling back down as her body was now mostly dry. “I was glad the succubus didn't kill you.” She said as she slid her arm inside on of the arm holes of her robe.
“How did you...Right. I forget.” I shook my head.
“Yes. Though it's a little harder now. The succubus unlocked some of the magic in you that you yourself hadn't even began to explore.” She said and slide her other arm in.
“It feels like she took it all.” I responded.
“No, but it will take some time to replenish. I can give you some of my energy if you like.” She turned. Her tits and pussy still bare as she didn't close the robe.
“How do you do that?”
“Take off you tunic and I will show you.” She smiled. I gave a shrug and pulled it off. She stepped close to me and pressed her breast against my chest.
“What are you...”
“Relax.” She smiled and touched my head pulling it to hers. I felt a shrug of energy fill me. Like I had just woken up from a long nap.
“Better?” She smiled as she stepped away and closed her robe.
“Much. Thank you.”
“In more ways then one it seems.” She looked down.
“Sorry.”
“I would be insulted otherwise.” She bit her lip.
“Can all elves do that?”
“No. I studied as a priestess before I meet Aaron.” Lily shrugged.
“I take it you gave it up for him?”
“No. I go back once a year to help where I can when I am needed to serve the goddess.”
“Yet you live across from a Trow?” I joked.
“Compassion knows no race and her daughter is as much Elf as Trow. You seem to problem helping others rather they are elf, trow, or beast folk.” She shrugged. “I should go over to Belladonna's before twilight.”
“And to answer your question, a succubus doesn't always show a man what he desires most. The most powerful succubi can show a man his destiny. You and the princess will meet each other again.”
“What destiny?”
“That I can not answer. Only the succubi could.” Lily shook her head. The two of you will meet again. I should get back and leave you to your business and let you take that piss you have been holding in.” She smiled slyly as she walked away. I ate like a madman when I got back to the tavern and passed out the second my head hit the pillow. I slept to almost noon which wasn't like me. When I went down I was surprised to see Hannah sitting at a table talking to her mother as rested her head on her arm. Something clearly had her down. I admit I knew very little about Hannah but she seemed like the most mature of the siblings.
“Morning ladies.” I smiled.
“I was wondering if you were dead up there.” Astrid teased.
“No, just really tired from my trip.” I shook my head. That wasn't the whole of it but I didn't know a polite way to say I fucked a succubus last night.
“Afraid I don't have anything hot to eat, you slept through breakfast but I can get you some bread and cheese if you like.” Astrid smiled.
“That sounds great. Thank you Astrid.” I smiled.
“Hey Hannah. What has you so down.” I said sitting next to her.
“Just got back from the bank about the place next door.”
“The one Torvald said you should think about buying?"
“Yes but they increased the price because it's trade season. I wouldn't have enough to stock the place with enough stuff to turn a profit. I would have to wait for the price to go down but by then it would be till next spring before I could turn any kind of profit.” She shook her head.
“How much are they asking?”
“Five hundred.”
“Damn.” I shook my head.
“Yeah. It's sits here in a square which is a prime location for traffic coming and going from the city. I could buy a large plot of land outside the city for that much. I would have to beg for a loan from the merchants guild just to buy the place and spend the rest of my life paying them back. I would have to put the place down as collateral so if I miss a payment they could take it right back and sell it all over again.” She shook her head and took a drink but made a face. I was guessing she didn't have her families love for strong drink but was trying to get herself drunk.
“What if I bought the place?”
“You have five gold?” She looked at me.
“Yes. I came into some coin recently after helping a friend.” Friend was a bit of a stretch when referring to Raven. Granted she didn't kill me or leave me for dead but she hadn't trusted me neither. Least I came out better then the other bounty hunters. Hell I wonder how much she was getting paid.
“And you would do that. Buy the place for me?” She smiled like a little kid. She had done a complete turn around in personality.
“I could.” I nodded.
“I could pay you back over time or rent it from you if you want but if you did I could spend my money to stock the place. Thank you.” She stood up and hugged me to her bosom as I got a face full of her sift tits.
“Your very welcome.” I mumbled.
“Sorry.” She said letting me go and blushed slightly. I sure as hell didn't mind a face full of soft melons in my face.
“So who do I have to see?”
“The crescent city banking guild. They own the deed to the land. While you are at it you should deposit your coin into the bank.” She said and sat back down.
“Why would I want to do that?”
“They use coin deposited to offer people loans. In exchange they pay you for how much coin you have invested. You can take your coin back out at any time but the longer you lend it to the bank the more money you make.” Hannah explained.
“Kind of like sharecropping?”
“Somewhat.” Hannah nodded. “When ever you like I can take you over there.”
“Let me get a little food in me first and I will get my money from the room.” I smiled. I ate the food Astrid brought me and went up to my room. I sorted out my silver from copper. I used the copper for everyday things but never used silver so putting it in the bank seemed like a good idea. Hannah showed me to the place but let me go in alone. The bank was human run and it look better if I went alone. I had a feeling that they may not offer as many services to other races then they would to me.
“May I help you?” A woman smiled as I came up to a counter.
“I like to buy a plot of land in the city and make a deposit.” I smiled. Hannah had given me a paper they had hung in front of the shop.
“Very well I can help you with the deposit? How much coin are we talking?”
“Not sure.” I said putting the bag down. I actually hadn't counted it. She opened it and looked inside.
“One second.” She said and got up walking away. She came back with an older gentleman.
“Sir. I am the guild master. If you would please follow me I will gladly assist you with your needs.”
“Is there a problem?”
“Not at all, quit the opposite but a deposit of this size has to be handled directly by a head guild member.” he said and led me into his office. He sat stacking the coins in stacks of ten so he could count it faster. “Your total comes to twenty six hundred and fifty coin. You would receive twenty six copper per month to be paid into the account until which time you wish to redraw your coin which would earn you three hundred and twelve copper per year.”
“Sounds good. I also wanted to buy a plot of land while I was here.” I said handing him the slip.
“Ah, quit a few people are interested in this plot.” He nodded.
“Did they also invest money with you? I am looking at other properties but would prefer to buy this one.” I lied. If I had to buy elsewhere it mean he would lose some of the money I just deposited. I was counting on his greed. He was a banker after all.
“No they did not and most would have needed to take out a loan. This would of course affect the money we would pay your account to...”
“Twenty one copper per month and two hundred and fifty two per year. That is fine. I just want to make sure my money is secure and in good hands.”
“I can assure you sir we will take care of every copper of your money.” He said and went about signing papers and signed two ledgers. One was for me and the other the bank would keep for their records. “Thank you sir, it is a pleasure doing business with you.” He smiled and I shook his hand. Hannah was waiting for me outside as she looked like she was about to burst.
“So you get it?”
“Yes.” I said holding up the papers.
“Thank you.” She hugged me tightly. It was funny how she was the oldest of the three sisters but the most excitable. “Now we just got to work out a plan for me to pay you back.”
“How about I rent you the property for now until you get things up and running good. Like you said you have to stock it and all which will take time and coin.”
“Okay. We can do that.” She nodded.
“You know there are rooms upstairs. You can stay there if you like. Not have worry about anyone trying to rob your stuff when you are away but you will still be right next to the inn whenever you fill like a drink or a warm meal. You do own the place after all.” She smiled and looked up at me.
“You trying to get me to move in with you now?” I teased
“Ah, that is not what I meant.” She shook her head and blushed.
“I am only teasing. I guess it wouldn't be such a bad idea plus I can help you out when needed.”
“Thanks.” She said and we went over and looked it over. It needed some work but it was livable and plenty of space for a shop and storage in back. The rooms upstairs were a good size as well.
“Not a bad place.” I smiled walking back down the stairs.
“Needs a little work but I think we can make it livable.” Hannah said and put an arm around me.
We spent the next day cleaning. Me and Terra worked upstairs while Helga, Heidi, and Hannah did down stairs. I kept stealing glimpses of their big tits jiggling about as they swept and scrubbed. Even Hannah popped a few buttons to let the girls breath. Arwen and Torvald showed up with some pine straw for the beds and lumber for the floors that needed it. We all went to the tavern afterwards to celebrate a little. I ended up having to escort Hannah home who showed her gnomish side when she was drunk. She even grabbed my ass once though she regretted it the next morning and apologized repeatedly.
The next day I helped Torvald replace some of the floor boards and patch a few spots on the roof then helped plaster some places in the walls inside and out which didn't take long with so many people helping. Terra had moved herself in to one of the upstairs rooms but said she could work here and at the inn at nights and Hannah was happy to let her stay. I took a break to go hunting and check on Selena. Just as I was leaving the city I heard a ruckus behind me and moved off the road as I saw several knights coming my way as they escorted a carriage. I got off my horse and took the reigns and bowed down. I did look up though as I saw a lovely woman with stunning red hair no doubt the queen. Their where ballads of her beauty. As the carriage road past I saw another face. One I had seen recently. The princess. Just as she was about to pass me by she looked my direction and smiled. She stuck her head out the carriage window and waved with a kerchief. Her two lovely milky white tits pressed up in a corset top. I stood up and waved back. The wind snatched the kerchief out of her hand and she slipped back into the carriage. I found her kerchef a ways down the road and put it in my sack. I wasn't going to Huntersrest now I guessed knowing how packed it would be. I wouldn't catch a thing there most likely so I decided to head toward Riversend and try my luck.
“Hello stranger. Need something?” A man smiled as I stepped into the general store. It looked so fucking much like home with several axes on the wall and other gear for loggers and what not.
“Resin.” I said walking over and looking at the hand axes. I could use a new one.
“Don't get many strangers ask for that out here.” He said.
“I grew up in a loggers town like this.” I smiled and picked an ax and brought it over.
“That would explain it. What brings you out this way?”
“Just passing through, looking to do some hunting in these parts maybe.”
“Most people go to hunters rest to do that dear. Rivers end is mostly barren of wild game because of all the noise from chopping down trees. Only thing any one catches around here these days are fish.”
“Yes but I figured with all the king and all his entourage there some deer might head north.” I shrugged.
“Ah, cleaver. Worth a shot I guess. Just beware of caves and bears. A bear attacked some poor sap down in hunter rest and tore his arm clean off awhile back.”
“Really. I hadn't heard that one.” I smiled and shook my head. Stories always grew over time I was sure within a year the story would be that the beast killed several people.
“What I heard.” The man nodded. “Ten copper.”
“Thanks.” I smiled and paid him. I found a nice spot on a tree stump and just made arrows for awhile before heading into the woods. I checked the cabin where we had caught the succubus but the tracks were well past gone not that I could catch up to them anyways. Raven had waited to take the succubus down so I would be to weak to stop her. I headed into the woods following the river hoping I would catch an animal coming for a drink. I got a good ways in when I heard a squealing sound. Boar. Or so I thought but when I got close enough I saw a pig stuck in the mud and a goblin girl trying to pull it out despite she was about the same size as the pig as far as weight went.
“No don't shoot.” She said as she saw me and let go of the rope she was holding onto falling on her ass.
“I am not going to shoot you. I thought I your pig was a wild boar.” I shook my head and put the arrow away. “Looks like he got stuck?
“Yes, silly pig like play in mud. Now can't get out.” She smiled and shook her head. It was a pretty big mud pit along the banks of the river.
“Hang on pig.” I said and dug in my bag and pulled out my rope and made a loop. I wasn't about to go in if I didn't have to. I managed get it around the pig and pull it tightly and began to drag the beast out.
“Got him.” The goblin girl said and began to help me drag him out though she wasn't so much as a help but more of an amusement.
“Thank you.” She smiled.
“You live around here?”
“Yes. Not far we stay. You come see?” She smiled and picked up a basket. She led me a ways down to river. I had nowhere else to go and I rather see her home safe. I grabbed the pig and yanked it along.
“Sure.” I shrugged.
“Why were you out in the woods?”
“Find truffles, good eating. Pay well told. Human want buy?”
“How much?”
“Me no know. Thought you might.” She shrugged. As we came into a clearing in the river I saw several goblins. At least five and all female. Some were actually pretty young. The older adults were in the stream trying to catch fish by hand but were having very little luck. I saw a small shanty by the river that I would guess they were living in.
“Human.” One of the younglings said. One of the older ones ran to the children.
“I am not here to hurt anyone. I am just out hunting.” I said holding up a hand and then tied my horse to a tree. “Found the little one here in the woods. Not having any luck fishing?”
“No, fish slippery.” One of the women said. They had picked a good spot where the river was wide and shallow. I walked toward the edge and drew an arrow and waited until I saw one and put an arrow through it. One of them ran after it and pulled it out of the water.
“Thank you.” One smiled and stepped forward. The oldest of the bunch from the look of her. Might even be a grandma of one of the kids.
“Is it all just women here?”
“Mostly. A few young boys. We flee goblin town.” She nodded.
“Why would you flee?” I asked. I wondered if this had to do anything with why Sylvia had run away. It had to be connected.
“Goblin king make law, order all goblin women his wives.” She shook her head.
“None of the other goblins tried to fight him?” I shook my head. Goblins were stupid but not that stupid.
“Many yes but he hire black orcs, they kill good goblins. Goblins who stay only get wives when he through with them. Some leave but leave women behind. Those who kiss ass goblin king he give daughters.” She said. Orcs versus goblins. The goblin king was a tyrant.
“So how did you escape?”
“Prince save us. He good goblin. He make plan. Good plan. One night we escape. Down through shit holes we go and run. Different directions we go. Catch all they can't. Me and daughters escape.
“What happened to the prince?”
“Me no know. Probably king kill or he escape. He good, smart, but not brave. We head to city, look for work. Safe from king if humans around. Prince plan. King no can take us then. Human no let him.” She shook her head. Well it wasn't perfect but not bad for a goblins plan. I heard the flutter of birds from the trees.
“Sh...” I said and put my finger up and looked around the treeline.
“What? I no hear nothing.” The older goblin said.
“That's the problem.” I said. Animals stopped making sounds when predators were nearby. My horse however began to create a ruckus as it caught the smell of of something it didn't like and tugged at the leads it was tied to.” Something was coming this way through the brush towards us.
