"Hey Babe, So sorry, stopped to grab a beer and lost track of time."

-Oh okay, no problem. I was just starting to get worried.

"Sorry to worry you, traffic was bad and really stressed me out. Needed a break from the road."

-Take your time. I'll put the oven on warm and wait for you guys to get back before finishing dinner.

"Sounds good, love you"

You finish your drink and head home.

When you get home Ana is sitting on the couch watching T.V.

"Honey we're home."

Ana turns off the T.V. and gets up to greet you and Ben. She is wearing a very cute summer dress despite it being winter. She rushes over and gives you a kiss.

-Welcome home baby, Ben so good to finally meet in person.

@Hi Ana, gorgeous as always.

-I can have dinner ready in a few minutes. Are you boys still hungry after the pub or did you eat while there.

"No, no we just had a beer and chatted for a bit."

-I get it, didn’t want to come home to your ball and chain of a girlfriend.

She teases.

@Honesty, the airport was a cluster fuck, we just needed to get off the road for a minute.

-Well if you say so, I guess it has to be true. You wouldn't lie to me, right?

You pick up on an awkward change in her voice as she gets a little flirty.

@No I wouldn't do anything like that.

"Come on Babe to the kitchen, we're hungry."

You spin her around and tap her on the ass as she skips away. You catch Ben staring.

"Come on, Ill show you the guest room and let you get your stuff situated."

You show Ben around the apartment. Pointing out the towels, beer fridge, heater and thermostat for his room and the bath/shower.

"Make yourself at home buddy. Anything thats mine is yours while your here."

-Dinner is ready!

Ana has set the table. A large bowl of spaghetti sits at the center with a salad and breadsticks as sides.

"Looks great Hon, thanks for cooking."

@Yeah smells great.

-No problem it feels nice cooking. Slaving away in the kitchen while your out drinking with your buddy. I feel like a class A proper house wife.

Your not sure if she is making jokes or hinting at being upset. You laugh it off and apologize again. She smiles back as she grabs a breadstick and snaps it.

-Ben what do you do for work exactly?

@Im an engineer. Well thats what my degree is in. Technically I'm a construction worker since I actually help build houses.

She giggles.

-That explains the muscles.

@Yeah it pays alright with the housing market being as crazy as it is. Can't really complain. Plus I get to work outside a lot, which is nice.

"Sounds more enjoyable than my office job."

@Yeah I would hate being stuck in an office all day dealing with bitchy Karens.

-I can be a bitch.

@I don't doubt it but your definitely no Karen.

-Whats that suppose to mean.

You finish dinner as the conversation continues to flow. Ana has a few glasses of wine while you and Ben continue to put back a few more beers.

"Do you want to game a bit? It will be a bit different in person rather than online."
