“I guess I don’t really want the AI to pick things about me. I’m not even sure what this language upgrade does, and giving away more power when I can see it is changing me, so I guess the learn after I buy it one.”

“No fun. I was hoping that AI could help push you along. But, you did come to us rather than make us come to you, so I will grant it. But, at least for the stuff you’ve already purchased, the real upgrades won’t show until after you trigger them, if there is a special trigger.”

“OK, I guess. Thanks?”

“No worries. And please start trying to use the app more, it doesn’t help us if you don’t do anything fun!”

“And how should I do that. Jane, how should I ‘use the app to help you’?”

“Like this silly.” Jane rips the phone away and starts clicking. “You have been ignoring all the fun cheap upgrades to get you started, going for the bigger more powerful ones. There, I refunded the 10 hearts you spent on our little bug and got you some new upgrades. And with your new power, you can see what they will actually do right now! What fun!”

As the phone comes back, the butterflies in my stomach could probably be heard from a mile away. This ‘dev’ for some powerful sci-fi type app just decided to help me have ‘fun.’ And based on her outfit, there a good chance we disagree on what fun is.

Looking at the screen, the new upgrades are listed out:

Complement giver (1) – user takes pleasure in complimenting others (increase arousal).

Complement receiver (2) – user takes pleasure in receiving compliments from others (increase arousal).

Complement giver 2 (3) – user will complement others much more often (increased attention to the bodies of others).

Complement receiver 2 (4) – others will be compelled to complement user much more often (others will notice user more easily).

“Well that doesn’t seem too bad, thanks for helping.”

“You felt it, didn’t you, that was a really nice complement you gave me, and your body is letting you know. I appreciate how thoughtful you are. Hehe, and you manage to turn such an ugly uniform into something sexy, I love how it squeezes you in all the right places.” A sly smile covers Jane’s face as I bite down on my bottom lip. A tingle running through my body at each word, urging me to listen and ask for more. A need, a desire, a want.

“See, much more fun. I might have to change the odds on the office pool at this rate. You are a smart girl, you will likely figure out the best upgrade you have picked out sooner than Saturday at this rate. But, it is bye for now. Feel free to reach out if you want to chat again.”

Her words continue to feel like a feather running over every inch of me.

“I loved talking to you, hope you will reach out real soon, Harpy.” And poof. A small puff of smoke and the vixen is gone.

But the burning inside wasn’t.
