Trudge off to find a picnic spot

You head through the trees, Sarah leading you to a spot of soft grass. She draws a blanket from her backpack, tossing it out across the grass and sitting down on it.

"So where do your friends think you are?" you ask Sarah.

"Oh, I told them I was meeting up with an ex of mine for some post-break-up sex. I know they'll smell the sex of me when I get back."

Sarah draws a joint from her bag, bringing it to her lips. She draws a steel lighter emblazoned with a hammer and sickle, flicking it as flame bursts free and sets the tip of her joint alight as he draws in a deep breath. The two of you pass it back and forth, taking long drags. You watch her elegant lips as they suck gently on the joint, the way her hair falls down her head and how her eyes stare into yours, clear on what she wants. Sarah leans her head against yours, sighing contentedly. You wrap an arm around her back, fingers brushing against her large breasts through the crop top.

"So what are you doing for the Summer?" Sarah asks. "Heading home to see the family?"

You cringe, albeit slightly, as you're reminded that "family" means the same group of people for the both of you, but you shrug it off.

"Nah, fuck that," you say. "I don't know what I want to do, but not that."

"You should consider coming with me and the girls. We're borrowing Angie's dad's old campervan and heading off for the summer. There's a few festivals and concerts we want to head to. Just heading off on the road for an adventure, you know?"

"That sounds nice," you say.

Sarah lowers the join in her hand, looking at you for a moment. She stares deep into your eyes, and what she wants is clear.
