Trouble for John

“Just what do you think that you are doing in the girl’s restroom?” demanded the voice, and when John looked up he saw it was one of the girls that was two years his senior. He couldn’t remember her name, that is until he looked over her head and saw that it was Moonstone Kelly, a tall girl with fire red hair and body that a gymnast’s would be delighted to have, tall and willowy, with small but noticeable curves in all the right places. He stepped back from the impressively built woman and used Observe on her.

‘Why does she have two different relationship scores?’ John wondered as his mind raced as he tried to come up with something that wouldn’t get him in trouble with the school.

“Well?” Moonstone asked sounding very impatient, her foot beating out a staccato beat on the floor. When John didn’t respond quick enough for her liking, she grabbed his arm and began dragging him towards the principal’s office, her grip around his arm like an iron band.

About ten feet in the opposite direction from all of his classes for the day the scenery began to change around them. “What is going on with those lockers?” John shouted as the lockers looked like they were about to literally melt off the walls. With a huff, Moonstone pushed John behind her and took up a fighting stance.

“What is a barrier doing here at school,” Moonstone wondered aloud as she began cautiously moving forward, “And why haven’t I run into it before.” Before John could ask a question about what she meant, a pair of dogs came around a corner and began growling at the pair. John quickly used Observe on them to see what they were.

These hounds are used to flush prey (that means you) from their hiding spots so that their masters can kill them. They usually travel in groups from 2 to 10.
Special: Sound of the Hunt
If the target of the hunt does not defeat all of the hounds but survive the hunt, they will be haunted by the sound of the barks and bays from any dog until the hounds die. - 20 wisdom, - 20 charisma when dealing with dogs as long as the debuff remains active.

Moonstone smiled as she saw the dogs and swung her fist forward in a punching motion as the dogs let loose a baying howl to draw the attention of the hunters. From Moonstone’s fist came a flash of light followed by what looked to be an icicle flying through the air.

John watched as the damage appeared over the lead dog as the icicle impacted on its body, stabbing into the creature's chest slightly. The other dog ignored the fact that its companion just got hit with an icicle and charged the two humans standing before. Losing his nerve at the sound and charging dog, John turned to run, only to find that his escape route is cut off by another dog, to which he used observe on.

These hounds are used to flush prey from their hiding spots so that their Masters can kill said prey. The Usually travel in groups of 2 to 10. (Do you really need to see all this information again?)

John pulled the dagger that he had been given earlier out of his inventory and did his best to prepare himself. The hunting hound charged at him, the baying howl nearly making him run, if not for his Gamer Mind skill negating the effects. As the hound barreled into him, he was knocked to the ground, his arm covered his face and neck to prevent the dog from tearing out his throat.

While John struggled with his hound Moonstone laughs in delight as she worked at dispatching the two hounds that had attacked them from the front. She wrapped her fists in shards of ice and with each punch she dealt tremendous amounts of damage to dogs. Soon her dogs had been defeated and she turned to watch John fight his dog.

John stabbed the dog repeatedly, looking for weak spots so that he would be able to kill the thing quickly. He used Observe just before he struck again and noticed that a red circle appeared on the hound just before his dagger slid into the flesh.

The Hound dropped on top of John and he struggled to push the dead weight off of him, only to be surprised when Moonstone causally lifted the creature into the air and tossed it aside. She repeated this process with John, leaving him on his feet as he stared at her, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment. A series of pop ups appeared before him, just before they heard more howls in the distance, as well as the sounds of another fight. John quickly looked at the pop ups.

John looked down to see something on the ground near the dogs. His gaming skills had him pick the items up and store them in his inventory without looking so he wouldn’t miss some possibly rare loot due to the fight still going on.

Moonstone grabbed his arm and dragged him along behind her as she marched towards the sounds of the fighting. As the two of them rounded around a corner, they saw a woman dressed like a paladin, complete with shield, doing battle with what appeared to be a troll.

“FOR THE LADY!” the women shouted as she swung her war hammer forward, a bright light enveloping the head of the hammer. When the hammer impacted on the troll there was a burst of flames and light. The troll looking creature let out an inhuman scream before it died.
