Trouble at the far side

You proceeded through Petalburg Woods, ready to make it to Rustboro, but it seemed fate had something else in mind first. It started when a man in a suit that really wasn't fit for hiking through the woods approached you.

"Excuse me, could you help me find a shroomish? I really am quite fond of that species, but-"

He was cut off as a young woman stormed up behind him. She was dressed like some sort of pirate, wearing a bandana and tattered shorts as well as a blue and white striped crop top and leggings. "There you are! I was going to ambush you, but had to dawdle about in the woods forever, didn't you? Well I'm sick of waiting!" She marched right up and got in the man's face. "You are going to give me those research papers!"

The woman sneered. "Oh, like some kid is going to save you. No one who crosses Team Aqua gets any mercy."
