Trouble at dinner.

Lisa took from her bags two spare shirts, spare pants, spare underwear and a nightgown and casually dropped them in a drawer. From the bottom of her valise she removed a pretty white lacy dress. She carefullly placed it in a seperate drawer.

"That's nice." Alma said.

Lisa turned around quickly, surprised that she hadn't heard Alma re-enter the room. Alma had a bucket of hot, soapy water.

"Thanks." Lisa said a faraway look in her eye. "A souvenier from home."

"Wheres that?" Alma asked as she cleaned up her pee.

"Doesn't matter." Lisa replied shaking her head. "Its in the past."

Alma finished cleaning, rose and left Lisa alone.

Lisa placed her winchester between the bed and nightstand. She then heard the chimes from the downstairs clock indicating it was 7pm.

Lisa left and locked her room. Then she went down to the dining area. In the dining area Lisa got a plate of steak, gravy, and vegtables. As she was heading to a table she saw a large number of towns folk arriving. As she was eating her meal she was joined by Beth and Billy Connors.

"Hey miss Lisa." Beth greeted her.

"Hi Beth, Billy." Lisa smiled back.

Over the next ten minutes Lisa, Beth and Billy engaged in idle chatter while they ate their meals.

Suddenly Lisa felt the twin barrels of a shotgun press against the back of her head and the sound of it being cocked.

"Nice and easy there, miss. Keep your hands where I can see them." a male voice from behind Lisa told her.
