Trip Approaches

Ben buys a ticket and makes arrangements. He has holiday off for 6 days. You are to pick him up on Wednesday, he stays through the weekend and New Years and leaves on Monday.

You and Ana are excited to have a guest visit and make preparations to make sure his stay is as nice as possible. You clean and prepare the guest bedroom, buying new sheets and pillows. Ana works on a list of events and activities. Wednesday will be a relaxing day to get settled, Ana plans on making dinner that night. Thursday you plan on taking him sight seeing a bit and travel a few hours North to the city for the day. Friday you want to game most of the day and hit the bars in the evening. Saturday your coworker is throwing a big New Years party. Sunday is strategically left open for a hangover day. He leaves back home on Monday.

You try to take a few days off work but run into a problem

Everyone seems to have already requested those days off. You are given Friday and Monday off in addition to the weekend but are denied Wednesday and Thursday. Disappointed you talk to Ana about options. She is able to pick Ben up on Wednesday from the Airport and agrees to take him on the day trip to the city.

"I know its not ideal but thanks for being so awesome, you're the best girlfriend every."

-No problem Baby. I hate the airport traffic but love to go shopping in the city. Its a trade off. As long as Im allowed to buy something nice while shopping.

"Of course sweetie, you deserve to treat yourself."

-What time do I need to pick him up from the airport?

"Hold on and Ill check."

-Dont worry about it Ill just ask him.

Ana starts texting on her phone while walking around. You hear her giggle a few times before she yells out.

-He is arriving at 10 o'clock. So I will have to leave here around 9.

You almost forgot she had his phone number and you wonder if they have been talking regularly.

"Baby?, I... I never asked"

-Yeah?

"How did you convince him to visit"

-Oh....I promised him he would have a good time.

"Oh, um.., ok"

She gives you a reassuring kiss.

-Don't worry baby its going to be great.
