Tricked at the talent show

Every year Jake's senior class did a talent show for former students that had graduated over the last few years. Everyone loved the talent show and Jake wanted to impress everyone with his act. Jake was sick of being made fun of for being a nerd, so he wanted to show everyone he was cool. Jake decided to sing and dance on stage. To make sure everyone knew he was going to do this, he told everyone a few days before.

Maggie giggled, then she said "we would love too. You have no idea how many fun we are going to have with you. We will go ask the stage manager if we can go last, so we don't need to wait long to see if you win. Meet us back stage in 20 minutes."
