Trick or treat with Ashley

With everyone in the family having some weird vibes you decide to stick with your friend Ashley this year. Taking out your phone you scroll to her texts. The last message from her asking if you wanted to trick or treat together. A message you put off responding up until now as you were still considering going with your family.

sure, I’ll meet you at your house You text Ashley making it official.

Awsome will meet at 5:30!
Ashley fires back her response after just a second or two.

Her eagerness another hint at that unrequested, undiscovered crush Ashley has on you. You still missing the subtle signals your bestie has been putting out since middle school. Trotting over to the door of your room you stick out your head and yell downstairs.

“Hey mom I’m going tricker treating with Ashley to night!”

“Oh, we’ll just make sure to be careful sweetie!” She yells back a small amount of disappointment in her voice.

Your mom kind of looking forward to having an outing with the whole family is momentarily sad. But not wanting to be the over baring matriarch she leaves it be. She knows you’ll have a fun time with Ashley, and with her being a bit more on the ball then you, hopes that today you might be able to realize that poor girl’s romantic feelings.

She’s sighs downstairs in the kitchen as she fills up a bucket with candy for the tricker treaters. If only you would give that girl a chance your mom knows she’s never have to worry about you finding a good wife. With how much Ashley has come over and spent time at the house with you in childhood she’s particularly family already!

Yet future marital prospects aside it’s back you as you realize you haven’t actually chosen what to wear for Halloween yet. Walking over to your closet you open the door to look at what you have in stock. There are a few costumes you have from previous years which probably still fit as you haven’t really grown much. Damn you genetics for not giving you that tall growth spurt your sister crystal had!

It is always an option to try to make your own costume as well go for something personal, or well lazy. A white sheet with eye holes technically is home made after all. Then you bit your lower lip, and a small blush comes across your checks. Or you can try an outfit a little more ‘adult’. Sure you’d have to leave with out your mom seeing, but sneaking out would be easy. Imagine the look on Ashley’s face if you showed up in a sexy cross dress. It be down right hilarious! Yeah… hilarious that’s the word…
