Trick Georgia into feeding her

Texas struggled not to grimace as she was **** to watch Georgia devour her food. Back when they worked together, she would often have to reprimand the mare for her abhorrent table manners. The sheriff's smaller size made the sight all the more grizzly. Every bite, slurp, and crunch, ringing in her sensitive ears. Worse yet were the crumbs of meat and potato that rained down onto table and, by extension, Texas's head. It was certainly an unpleasant experience for the weasel, but her mind was still on sneaking a bite to eat.

She watched and waited for a moment where Georgia would glance away and she could sneak on over to snatch a small piece of bacon. Her hopes began to wane as she saw plate gradually empty. It seemed like Georgia didn't even need to pause to breathe! Texas gritted her teeth as she wracked her brain for some kind of plan. For a brief moment she wondered if she could just walk over and snag something. Georgia was so focused on eating, it wouldn't surprise her if she failed to notice the doll walking over to her plate. As quickly as that idea came, it was tossed aside. Even if she was correct and Georgia really distracted to notice her, there was a good chance that she'd get snatched up and tossed down the mare's gullet by accident.

Texas winced as her stomach rumbled once more. It was awfully hard to think on an empty stomach. Looking over at the plate, she was stunned to see that Georgia had almost polished off her meal. If she didn't think of something quick, she'd miss her opportunity! In a moment of desperation, the sheriff went with whatever idea popped into her head next.

"Sheriff Georgia!" She called in her stilted voice. She swallowed nervously as Georgia paused her eating and glanced over at her with a raised brow.

"...Am I hearing things again...?" she muttered before picking the weasel up to examine her. "Sounded like you said something again. I didn't press your button though..."

"Ah need food so ah can be bring and strong jus like mah boss, Sheriff Georgia!" Texas said with a strained smile.

Georgia blinked and tilted her head. Why was her toy suddenly talking on its own? Not just that, but it almost sounded like she called out to her. The more she thought about it, this thing was pretty inconsistent in how it was operated. The first time she heard it speak, it was done without her pressing on its tummy. On that note, why didn't it speak back when she was messing with it back in Texas's office? Her face scrunched with thought as she tried to make sense of all these conflicting factors.

"If ah don't eat, ah'll be too tuckered to be useful to mah boss!" Texas said, irritation beginning to poke through her friendly facade. She knew that she was playing a dangerous game, but so long as there was a chance that she would be fed, she could care less. Her hope was that Georgia would pick up on what she was trying to say.

"Useful?" Georgia repeated confusedly, her train of thought completely derailed by the weasel's interruption.

"Ah gots to have lots of energy so ah can keep talkin' bout how great Georgia is!" Texas shouted, her teeth beginning to grit. Georgia wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but she wasn't dense. She had to get what was being asked of her by that point. Texas couldn't think of a more straightforward way to phrase it without outright dropping the act. Georgia stared at her intently, the gears turning in her head as she tried to make sense of all this.
