Treecko

Author's Note: Use the first variable in the customization tab to change your starter's name.

"I'll take the treecko." You said. The treecko nodded to you, then walked up to you at a leisurely pace before climbing up your leg and back to look over your shoulder. "Hey there." You patted his head. "I think I'll call you Ace."

The professor handed you Ace's pokeball. "I hope the two of you have a wonderful journey together."

Next to you, May picked up the torchic. "Then I'll pick you, torchic. Hmm... How does the name Scorch sound?" The torchic chirped happily, and May picked up his pokeball.

You raised an eyebrow at her. "Did you just wait so you could pick the starter that was strong against mine?"

She gave a mischievous giggle. "Not just that, no. I really meant what I said, and I wanted you to pick the starter you wanted."

You rolled your eyes. "Fine, but I'll still win any battles we have anyways."

Professor Birch spoke up again once you were done. "Now, I believe you have both already registered as trainers." You and May both nodded. "Good, then I'll that's left for me to say is good luck out there."
