Chapter 15

Which Promotion do you choose?
Treasure Hunter
This was an interesting promotion as far as you could tell. A Hunter usually implied that one would be actively going after something. Treasure at this point was your consistent title you assumed. You hadn't been given reason to believe otherwise. Any and all 'Promotions' would most likely have Treasure in their titles. So if Treasure was simply a title, what came after was the Promotion itself. A Treasure Hunter then would only be a Hunter who happened to be a Treasure Goblin. Hunters you knew possessed knowledge of the wild and of the beast that dwelled within it. Hunters utilize mostly ranged means of dealing with enemies and they also could use and disarm traps at will. You were not a fan of traps. With that in mind you selected the option and the menu faded from view momentarily.
Already you could feel your body changing but it wasn't quite so drastic. Your chin became slightly more pronounced and you felt a piece of clothing materializing onto your head. Looking up you felt the wide brim hat that you now sported. Beyond this though you only grew a few more inches in height. Surely that couldn't be all right? You opened your stat menu to double check if you hit the promotion prompt correctly.

You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
