Travelling to Dewford Town

"Hold on, lass! Belay that, Peeko!" said Mr. Briney before he notices Jade. "Oh sorry, if it ain't Jade. You're the one who save my Peeko." said Mr. Briney. "Aye, but we owe you for that day." said Mr. Briney. "Yes, I know. But I need help with something, and it requires you." said Jade. "What is it?" asked Mr. Briney. "Well, you see, I just saw that you have a boat, and so..." asked Jade. "What? You want to sail with me?" asked Mr. Briney. "No, no, no, you got it all wrong." said Jade. "Then what's this all about then?" asked Mr. Briney. "You see I need to deliver a letter to Steven in Dewford Town." said Jade. "A letter bound for Dewford? Certainly, that'd be no problem at all." said Mr. Briney. "I'm not done yet; I also have to deliver a package of Devon Goods to a guy called Captain Stern in Slateport." said Jade. "And a package for Slateport, then that's all?" asked Mr. Briney. "Yes, that's all." said Jade. "Quite the busy life you must lead!" said Mr. Briney. "But certainly, what you've asked is not a problem at all. You've come to the right man! We'll set sail for Dewford first!" said Mr. Briney. "Really! Thanks for the help, Mr. Briney!" said Jade. "No problem at all, so Dewford it is!" said Mr. Briney. "Anchors aweigh! Peeko, we're setting sail, my darling!" said Mr. Briney, before he and his darling Peeko, went to the ship on his dock, with Jade following too. Once they hop on, Mr. Briney start the engine, and the ship starts going to Dewford, which past through route 105 and suddenly Jade's phone starts beeping.

"Oh? Jade? Where are you now? It sounds windy wherever you are." asked Jade's dad Norman. "I'm currently on a boat with Mr. Briney, going to Dewford Town." said Jade. "I just heard from Devon's Mr Stone, about your PokéNAV, so I decided to give you a call." said Norman. "It sounds like you are doing fine, so that's fine with me. You can take care now." said Norman, before Jade register her dad in the PokéNAV. "Who was that?" asked Mr. Briney. "It's my dad, Norman. Who is a gym leader in Petalburg City." said Jade. "I heard about him, and I think he's a really good guy." said Mr. Briney. "Oh? Looks like I can see land!" said Mr. Briney, as he lands on the dock in Dewford Town.

"Ahoy! We've hit land in Dewford." said Mr. Briney. "I suppose you are off to deliver that letter to, who was it now again? Oh right! Steven!" said Mr. Briney. "Yes, I am. Thanks for the help!" said Jade, before going north. "No problem! I'll stay here until you can leave!" said Mr. Briney. "Alright, so the Granite Cave is there." said Jade, as she walked towards the Granite Cave, which she was blocked by two Fisherman, but they were pushovers against Sophie. "Hey, you. It's dangerous going down the cave and it's tough to explore there too." said a hiker. "That guy, Steven knows how to use the HM05 Flash, but... Well, for us hikers, helping others that we meet is our motto." said the hiker. "Here you go, I will pass you this on you, teach it to a Pokémon and the cave will be lighten up instantly, the problem is that you have to battle the gym leader in Dewford Town first, to use it outside of battle." said the hiker. "Ok, looks like I have to battle him first." said Jade, as she walks out of the cave and heals her Pokémon, before going to Dewford Town's gym.
