Transmutation - The Art of Change

Your eyes widened as the revelation of what the liquid was became apparent rather quickly.

Liquid gold! It shimmered beautifully as it rained down, oddly enough not hot as one would expect of gold in such a state, but still seemed to be rather heavy as your hand struggled to stay up holding it, but those beneath were crying out as they were splashed with it.

"Quite the pure gold you have there, your skills in transmutation must be equally impressive." Morgana suddenly stated, drawing your eye from the gold pouring from the cup to the gold of her eyes which seemed to glow brighter. "Transmutation allows one to change objects, people, and even attributes. The most skilled can make weapons out of silverware, monsters out of mice, and even alter the very weather itself, something I doubt you'll have trouble doing with such copious amounts of mana." the Headmistress explained, the versatility of the ability seemed to draw a smile to her face, almost hungry at the thought of what you'd be able to do with it.

As the thoughts sunk in, you happened to take a look down and spied a great deal of students eyeing you up. Some seemed angered, jealous of the vast depths of power you had and how you'd be able to make use of it with your talent. Others appeared concerned, for what you couldn't really understand since yours wasn't a directly combat oriented power, but maybe the knowledge that someone would be able to outclass them on raw power alone would frighten them. Those that saw past the threat you presented and saw the benefits seemed to want you and your strength for themselves.

"Meet with Sir Grigor once the assembly is over." Morgana said before shooing you on. Your thoughts turned inward, ignoring the rest of the ceremony as you considered your power. It seemed almost funny, how you had nothing in life before, and now apparently had the ability to provide you with anything you wanted if you put your mind to it.
