Training with her mother

When Lauren was shocked by her development of magical powers, it was her mother who explained their mystical lineage. Her mother had been trained by their grandmother, in a lineage going back for hundreds of years. She'd practiced for years, and appeared to be able to do just about anything magically with ease.

So she began training Lauren in the same process. The problem was, the pair did not have a good relationship. Her mother was harsh and demanding, Lauren was obstinate, lazy and arrogant. Soon training became a constant explosion of fiery feminine egos clashing. Lauren's mother Victoria decided Lauren needed some harsh disciplines to respect her teaching.
