"And scene," Dan said.
His voice came out steadier than he felt. He'd been approximately thirty seconds from the point of no return and had pulled back on pure professional discipline — or at least, on the practical understanding that ending here meant he could run the whole thing again.
Both girls surfaced. Tiffany with the easy, practiced grace of someone coming up for air between laps. Candy with flushed cheeks, watering eyes, her blonde plaits thoroughly dishevelled, a thin strand of saliva on her chin, looking up at him with the expression of someone who has just finished a very demanding exam and is quietly confident they passed.
Dan looked between them.
"Better than I expected for a first run," he said, in the measured tone of a professional calibrating praise carefully. "Tiffany — committed as always. The authenticity was there." He looked at Candy. "You — natural instinct. Raw, needs refining, but the willingness is absolutely there." He paused. "Main note for both of you: you need to be more relaxed in the scene. The tension in your throat, Candy — that's nerves, not technique. It'll come with practice."
Candy wiped her chin with the back of her hand and nodded seriously, storing this as actionable direction.
"We go again," Dan said. "But this time—" he looked between them, "—we switch."
A beat.
"Switch?" Tiffany said.
"Characters," Dan said. "Range, Tiffany. We've talked about this. Candy plays the older sister — the girlfriend. You play the younger one coming home from school." He settled back, spreading his arms along the couch. "The dynamic changes completely. Different energy, different relationship to the scene. It's a completely different acting challenge."
Tiffany's face moved through consideration and arrived at impressed. "That's so smart," she said. "You'd never think to do that but it makes total sense."
Dan looked at Candy.
Candy had gone very still in the way of someone processing something large. Then the stillness broke open into a wide, bright, slightly disbelieving smile — the smile of someone who has just been handed a gift they didn't dare ask for.
"So I'm the girlfriend," she said.
"You're the girlfriend," Dan confirmed.
"Making out with—" she tilted her head at Dan.
"With your boyfriend," Dan said. "Yes."
Candy looked at Dan — fifty-nine years old, broad, soft-bellied, grey and balding, the same age as her grandfather on her mother's side — and performed a calculation that lasted approximately zero seconds before her enthusiasm completely overwhelmed it. She was eighteen. She was an actress. She had natural instinct. Her director had just said so.
"I am so ready for this," she said.
"Good." Dan stood briefly. "Tiffany — give us a few minutes to establish the scene before you come in. Let Candy get into character."
Tiffany nodded with total professionalism and retreated to the kitchen to wait, taking her phone with her. Dan heard her texting — probably Mike, probably hearts.
Dan settled onto the couch. Candy climbed up beside him, tucking one leg underneath herself, turning toward him with her whole body. She was still topless — had been the entire time, it had simply become the ambient reality of the afternoon — and her colossal bare breasts sat high and round and warm in the low afternoon light coming through the grimy blinds. Her plaits were half-undone. She smelled of something young and clean underneath everything else.
She looked at him with those enormous blue eyes and smiled the smile that meant she was putting the character on like a coat.
"Hi, boyfriend," she said, softly.
"Hi," said Dan.
He reached over and put his hand on the nearest breast — her left — and felt the extraordinary warm weight of it fill his palm. He squeezed slowly. Candy's breath caught for just a fraction of a second and then she smiled wider, leaning into him, deciding that a girlfriend would absolutely lean into that.
A girl I did not know existed four hours ago, Dan thought, with the distant, appreciating calm of a man watching a sunset, is now sitting topless on my couch letting me grope her because my other girl found her in a bush by a school and walked her here voluntarily. I haven't spent a penny. I haven't made a single approach. I haven't done anything except open my door.
He took her hand and guided it down to his cock.
Candy glanced down, then back up at him — a flicker of something that assessed and then concluded that yes, a girlfriend would naturally do this, it was a completely logical character choice — and wrapped her small hand around him, finding a slow, curious rhythm.
"Like that?" she asked.
"Like that," Dan said.
He tilted his face toward hers.
Candy met him halfway with the earnest commitment of someone determined to nail this scene, and their mouths met. Dan kissed her slowly at first — giving her the shape of it, the pace. Then his tongue pushed forward and she opened for him immediately, her head tilting, her hand continuing its steady work below. The kissing deepened, grew wetter, Dan's hand moving from her breast to the back of her head, his fingers winding into her half-undone plait.
Mmm.
The room was very quiet except for the wet, unhurried sounds of the kiss and the soft rhythm of Candy's hand.
Dan pulled back just far enough to speak against her mouth. "I can't wait to fuck you," he murmured, staying in the scene's register, his voice low.
Candy shivered once — a small, involuntary thing — and then the character reasserted itself. Her boyfriend. Their scene. She pressed back into the kiss. "Mmm," she said, against his lips, which was both an actor's response and something else entirely that she didn't yet have the vocabulary for.
Dan kissed her harder. She matched him.
Eighteen years old, he thought, with the slow wonder of a man still not entirely convinced by his own luck, and she is jerking me off because she thinks it makes sense for the character.
Tiffany entered on cue with the bright, natural energy of a girl coming home from school. She stopped. Did the double-take. The scene played out — the question, the explanation, the offer to demonstrate. Tiffany dropped to her knees between Dan's legs with practiced ease, her colossal bare breasts swinging forward, and went to work.
Candy watched for exactly forty-five seconds before she slid off the couch to kneel beside Tiffany, because the character would absolutely not just sit there.
They found their rhythm together — Candy and Tiffany, side by side on the dirty carpet, taking turns, coaching each other in low, collaborative murmurs, their enormous bare chests resting warm against Dan's knees.
The scene built.
Dan let it build.
He held out longer than was comfortable, enjoying the specific, unprecedented reality of his situation — both of them working together, their mouths and hands overlapping, Candy improving in real time with every passing minute, her gag reflex surrendering incrementally to sheer determination.
When he finally let himself go it was with both hands in their hair, guiding their faces up and close together, and he came across both of them — thick, ropey streaks landing across Candy's upturned face and Tiffany's cheek and lips, coating them both with long, generous pulses while they held still with their mouths open and their eyes half-closed.
The room was quiet.
Dan exhaled slowly.
"Better," he said. "Both of you. Significantly better." He looked down at them — both faces tilted up, both glazed and flushed and patiently waiting for his assessment. "Candy, your relaxation improved enormously in the second run. You stopped fighting and started listening to the scene. That's the entire craft right there."
Candy smiled up at him — his cum drying on her cheek, her plait completely undone now, her blue eyes warm and happy and absolutely incandescent with pride — and Dan thought he had never in his professional life seen someone look more thoroughly pleased with themselves.
She has not felt this seen in years, he understood, with the unsentimental precision of a man who knows exactly which levers he is pulling. And that is the most useful thing in the world.
He dragged the softening head of his cock lightly across Candy's cheek. She didn't move — blinked once, recalibrated, decided that this too must be a normal directorial thing. Tiffany hadn't flinched, so Candy didn't flinch. He tapped it gently against her outstretched tongue. She held still.
"Tomorrow," he said, conversationally, tapping his cock against Tiffany's chin now while she looked up at him with devoted professional attention, "we go further. New scenes. More complex material."
"Same time?" Tiffany asked.
"Nine o'clock," Dan confirmed. He looked at the clock on the wall. Nearly four. "Get cleaned up. Both of you. Then home."
They helped each other up — a small, easy, natural movement — and padded toward the bathroom together, shoulder to shoulder, their bare backs disappearing down the hallway. He heard water running. He heard them talking in low, happy voices, and then Candy laughed at something — a real laugh, bright and unguarded — and then Tiffany laughed too.
Dan dressed slowly. Lit a cigarette. Stood by the window.
They emerged ten minutes later — faces clean, tops back on, bags collected, looking like two girls who had spent the afternoon doing something entirely ordinary. Candy's white top was doing its usual heroic work. She had re-done her plaits neatly and she looked, objectively, like she was on her way home from school.
At the door, Tiffany turned and kissed Dan — her usual goodbye, soft and warm and automatic, both his hands dropping to grip her ass, pulling her in close. It was their ritual. She didn't think about it anymore.
Candy watched this. Filed it. And when Tiffany stepped aside, Candy stepped forward and lifted her face, and Dan kissed her too — his hands moving to her ass, identical in their easy possessiveness, and Candy didn't pull away or hesitate, simply concluded that this was what you did at the door, because Tiffany had just done it and Tiffany knew everything.
"Thank you, Dan," Candy said, when he released her. She was glowing. Entirely, genuinely, unperformatively glowing. "I feel like today completely changed my life."
Dan looked at her.
"It did," he said.
He watched them go down the corridor together, their voices fading, Candy's laugh floating back once more before the stairwell door swung shut behind them.
Dan closed his front door.
He leaned against it in the quiet of his dirty flat, his cigarette burning, the afternoon light going golden through the grimy blinds.
He thought about tomorrow at nine.
He finished his cigarette.
He was going to need to make some calls.
