Training and temptations

You take a deep breath. This was a strain, and progress was slow. The concept of spell twisting is simple; cast two spells as one, combining the effects. Actually doing it was another matter.

You were stripped to the waist in the ruined yard beside the pool. You could have left your shirt on, but your audience requested a show. Maya, Sadie and Lynn lounged in chairs, soaking up the sun and watching you. Yura was swimming, having been convinced to put on one of Maya’s bikini tops. The comments on your physique from the peanut gallery were distracting, but pleasant, regardless.

It was a good thing this section of the yard was already wrecked. The spells you choose weren’t powerful, but still made a mess. A simple fire spell and a simple water spell. In theory, you should be able to make a blast of steam. In reality, nothing. You got fire or water.

Now you were trying something different. You lift both hands, and fire both spells, one in each hand. A blast of water turns the soil to mud, and a beam of fire boils it off. You bring your arms together, holding the spells next to each other. Sweat runs off you as you maintain the magic. Straining your mind, you attempt to move the fire spell to the same hand as the water spell.

Nothing changes for a while, then, after maybe twenty seconds, there’s a pop in your mind, and steam shoots from your fist for a moment, before sputtering out as you lose concentration.

You hold your head. “Fucking OUCH! Ok, that worked, but it hurt like hell. Like popping a joint into socket.”

Maya giggles, “Awww, poor baby! Want me to kiss you better?”

You turn and grin at her, and she winks. She tosses you a towel, and you wipe the sweat off your body.

“Oooh, slower! Put on a show for us!” Sadie giggles as she cheers you on. Meanwhile, Lynn just looks at you and blushes.

You toss the towel back to Maya. “Glad to see I still have an effect on you girls.”

There’s a splash, and Yura pulls herself out of the pool. Her seal tail shakes to shed some water, and she pushes her long black hair away from her face. Water beads on her golden brown skin, and you find yourself looking at her plush, curvy body.

Maya giggles again. “I think my Josh is a bit taken with the new girl.”

You blush and look away. Yura speaks up. “I do not mind. I look at him too.”

Now you blush more, to the delight of the other girls. You sigh and walk over to a chair, flopping down with a groan. You close your eyes and relax, when Anna walks in. “Master, you have a visitor.”

With your eyes closed, you say, “Who is it?”

“It’s me.” Rachel says, “I hope I’m not interrupting...”

You open your eyes, and she quickly looks away. Was she just checking you out? You sit up with the towel around your neck. “Not at all Rachel! Just taking a break from straining my brain. To what do we owe the pleasure?”

You hear her breath catch a little as you say that, and you notice her taking surreptitious glances at your body. “I...I wanted to see if Yura is settling in. Truthfully, I’ve never met a selkie before either, so I’ll admit to some curiosity.”

Yura looks up at Rachel. “I am happy. He lets me swim. He makes me feel pretty.”

Rachel chuckles. “Oh really?”

Yura nods. “I know I am not skinny. But I like how he looks at me.”

You blush, and Rachel turns and smiles at you. “What is it about you, Josh? It seems like every woman you meet falls for you...” her voice trails off, and she blushes. “I...I’m sorry, this was a mistake. I’m leaving...”

Before you can say anything, she walks into the house headed for the door. You turn to the girls. “Well, that was odd...”

Maya giggles. “Told you someone likes you!”

Lynn nods, “It’s pretty obvious to me. She likes you a lot, but doesn’t know what to do.”

Sadie bounces in her chair. “Oooh, you should ask her out! She’s sexy! A sexy older lady!”

Even Yura speaks up. “She came to see you, not me.”

You nod. That made sense. “Yeah. So what do we do now? Should I talk to her? I mean, we already know I’ll be flirty with her regardless. And in case it wasn’t obvious, I’m already showing interest in a certain selkie...”

The girls giggle and you’re pretty sure Yura smiles a little. Maya shrugs. “We all know Yura will join your harem when she’s comfortable enough, she’s already basically admitted it in her way.” To your surprise, Yura nods. “And Rachel has been amazing, and she’s gorgeous! She’s only a little bit older than Elys anyway.”

You laugh. “Maya, you just love getting me together with more women, don’t you.”

Maya nods. “Only if they meet my standards! Yura definitely does, just look at her! I just want to cuddle her forever.” There’s a slight blush to Yura as she looks down. “And Rachel...I mean, come on, she’s like a model, and she’s a wonderful, caring woman. And maybe she can keep you from doing dumb stuff sometimes!”

You nod. “Maybe I’ll give her a call tonight, see if she wants to go out sometime.”
