Training Pt 2

"Whoooa..."

Merida nodded her agreement with Yang. "Aye! That's some jiggin', that is! Is that normal? Shimmyin' one's bahookie lik' that?"

No translation was needed for that one as they were all watching the Belladonnas and several others finishing up practicing on the "dance stage". They were definitely practicing putting their "ass"sets to good use.

Glynda nodded. "It's normal, Merida. The purpose of dancing is to not only improve timing, fitness, balance and coordination but also to attract a mate. Traditionally many dances used to be about style and decorum, poise and grace... and we cover those kinds of dances too! But the modern sensibilities have changed. Decorum is less of an issue at times and... "exotic" dancing is more about attraction and even arousing a partner. If you can do it while having fun and presenting your most attractive or titillating self it works best."

"And it's fun!" Penny added from where she was getting a lap dance from Lifts-Her-Tail. "Walter will really like this, Lita! He loves your tail!"

Lita smiled happily. "Thank you, Penny! These new dances are fun but very strange so I have been practicing hard." She blushed. "Penny... I am trying to imagine doing this for Master Walter... would it be too much trouble to ask you to lightly... smack it for me?"

Penny nodded smiling. "It would be no trouble at all and my pleasure to assist you! I am certain that you are correct. Master Walter would love to smack your ass! I shall endeavor to try to replicate his response. *ahem* Yee haw!" Penny brought her hand down and smacked Lita's rump causing her to jump. "I shore do love you, Lita. *Smack* You are one special lady to me! *Smack* From tip to tail you are the argonian maid of my dreams! *Smack* Boy howdy! *Smack* I-"

"On second thought," Lita said more embaressed by Penny accurate but terrible acting. "I think that's enough, Penny. Thank you."

Penny smiled and nodded. "You are very welcome, Lita!"

Ahnassi laughed as she stepped away from one of the poles. "True Walter enjoys tails but he àlso enjoys everything on a lady, yes!"

"Is that a fact?" Mission asked as she finished up from practicing on the pole next to her as well.

"Yup!" Ilulu said giggling. "It's not the parts that he's attracted to," she squeezed and hefted her enormous breasts. "Though he likes those too... but it's the lady herself that he likes! He's so nice when he kisses my horns or the gentke way he touches my wings! Right, Demona?"

Demona looks at her shooked. "Like I would know! He and I don't... have that kind of relationship, you twerp!"

Ilulu blinked. "You don't? You should! He wants to touch you, you know. He's always looking at you after sunset! You should try it! He's a gentleman but a naughty boy! He's very good at-"

"Oh, do shut up!" Demona said as she blushed trying, and failing, to specifically NOT think about that.

"Well?" Blake asked. "What did you think?"

Yang swallowed. "Yeah... that was pretty h-Good! Pretty good... *ahem* you uh, finally learned how to dance. Congratulations!" She rubbed the back of her neck.

Blake grinned and grabbed her other hand. "Thank you, Yang! I know! Want me to teach you? I can be your teacher this time!"

Yang blushed. "Uhh... y-you and me? Together? Err... isn't this about learning to dance for Walt? I dunno... I'm NOT against the udea but-"

"You're mistaken," Kali smiled at the young woman who was obviously attracted to her daughter and possibly Walt as well as Blake to her and Walt. Kali put a hand on Yang's shoulder. "It's true that for many of us this is about practicing for Walter, but for many it isn't. It's also just a fun activity for all of us to engage in and spend time together. You can have fun here in a safe space with no judgement where we can all support and encourage one another to be happy. Understand?"

Yang felt like Kali was talking about a lot more than just dancing... she was talking about their lives here. Her life here. She nodded and said, "U-Understood." She squeezed Blakes hand. "Yeah... yeah, let's dance together! Show me something fun!"

Blake laughed and dragged her up to one of the stages. "Alright!"

Merida blinked and looked at her neighbor who was drinking water. "Dae ye truly think thae ur useful skills tae be learning?"

Pirotess blinked and then shrugged. "I don't know if they're "useful" to know... but I see the benefit in practicing them. Increased agility, balance, stamina, rhythm, sense of timing... did you bring your bow?"

Merida nodded. "Aye but I dinnae ken why?"

Pirotess seing some of the poles free nodded and looked at some of the others. It was time. "Some of the others and I have been practicing something... different. You'll see." She smirked. "You might even like what you see!"

Pirotess joined Sienna, Lydia, Aela, Serana and Sasha on the stage with the poles. Most had their weapons or training versions of them. Pirotess and Serana with their bows. Sienna with her chain. Penny stepped up to join them on the long center stage area. The music that started wasn't the modern kind. It was an orchestral piece that had a bunch of heavy drum beats and horns. Something called The Anvil of Crom.

The ladies started dancing with theur weapons in a short but stunning display. Sasha and Penny zipping about in a whirl of aerial acrobatics and magic. Whike Sienna twirled tgrough a dance with her chain below. The others took to the poles. Aela and Lydia with swords out. Serana and Pirotess climbing up their's then spining and twirling about with their bows in hand and mock shooting.

It wasn't just a dance. It was a performance. Just a show. But each of them was concentrating on their and the others parts very seriously. They didn't want to make a mistake. They didn't want to hurt a comrade. They trusted each other... became something greater than themselves. Something Merida thought was wonderful!

And then just like that it was over. Everyone else was clapping and she realized that she was too! "Och! That was grand!"

Pirotess shrugged. "We're still working on it and we had to pick something short... its an experiment. To see if it can yeild other results. Our timing is improving with each other and," Pirotess's ear tips reddened. "It's been... mildly entertaining to experiment."

Serana and Sienna joined them. "What she means us she's having fun," Sienna said smirking as Pirotess crossed her arms and pointedly looked away. "Neo has been our choreographer and when we get it down Manami will record it!"

Serana smiled. "It has been interesting and we want to add a live archery bit. The two of us is fun but we were wondering if you'd have any interest in being our third? We think that'd make it really exciting."

Merida blinked. "Wha? Me? Ye think ah kin dae... That!?"

They all looked at each other. They'd discussed it after watching her practice with Hawkeye yesterday. They all nodded.

Pirotess looked at her. "It's actually much easier and simpler than it looks from down here... but not that easy either. A good challenge." And then she actually reached out and put her hand on Merida's shoulder and... smiled. "What do you say? Try it just for fun?"

Merida could tell that it had cost the dark elf something to make the gesture... and she did it unbidden for her. Merida smiled. "Aye... ah think a'd lik' tae gie it a go!"

They all hugged or patted her on the back concerning her decision. "Come," said Aela as they pulled her up onto the stage. "We'll teach you how to pole dance," Lydia smiled.

Penny stopped to pull out her phone. "Oh a text from Jubes asking for advice!"

Manami pumped her fist and Neo started texting someone Raven and Friday had put her in contact with.

Walt looked at his phone blinking. "Friday what's this visit request about?"

(("Apparently Emma Bright and Neopolitan are exchanging ideas, Boss. Emma has requested an opportunity to visit with her sometime in the future. No specific date has been scheduled at this time."))

Walt blinked then smiled. "In other words they're thick as theives and up to something!" He shrugged. "Sure, I'll allow it. Keep an eye on them and keep them from getting out of hand for me?"
