Tourist Traps

Tourism was particularly booming on the island, and with it, the insidious plans and devious devices that lay in wait for oblivious potential victims to casually walk into. The local men take advantage of Western foreigners through hypnotizing means, taking their money and their women with impunity. Some were mystical in nature while others were more technological. No amount of effort has been spared to ensure that the highly illegal activity remained hidden. No small amount of favors were granted for authorities to turn a blind eye, and perhaps even for the sake of the powers that be, they would do so for no incentive at all. After all, business was good. The country needed the Westerners to keep coming, and a satisfied local male population, no matter how debauched and degenerate, made them happy.
