Tougher Battle

The arrow from the resident Blue Lions archer flew as Byleth sidestepped out of its path causing it to strike true on Ferdinand. “Argh! That wasn’t mean to happen.” Ferdinand comments as he rubbed the bruise the blunted arrow leg behind before he was swiftly knocked aside by Byleth. “Oh! You really are as tough as they say. I admit it, I have lost.”

Byleth then turned his attention to Hubert who has begun throwing Miasma spells at him rapid fire which he has to expertly dodge. One stray Miasma strikes Ashe as he attempted to his behind a bush knocking him down to the floor. “Oof! Looks like I have been defeated by a stray spell. How embarrassing of a Blue Lion.” Ashe says as Dedue begins to stalk closer to the battlefield.

Claude and Hilda were busy watching Byleth duke it out with the other houses so Joan and Mary thought it would be a perfect time to strike. “I know you are there.” Claude said as he turned to them and fired an arrow as they kept out of the bushes.

The arrow stroke Joan in the shoulder causing her to crash land to the grass below before having to roll out of the way of Hilda’s axe strike. “Heh, we aren’t that oblivious.” Hilda commented as she try to strike Joan.

Mary meanwhile has stuck the landing and attempted to use her axe to strike down Claude in one strike. But her slow attack caused Claude to dodge her leaving her open for an arrow from the trickster. The shot was knocked away however as Joan pulled out her axe from the ground and swiped it away.

“We aren’t done yet!” Joan and Mary both shouted as they went to strike their opponents down.
