Touchstone wins!

Once the fanfare of victory comes to an end, Touchstone steps off of him and reaches down a hand to help him up. Striker accepts it, getting up to his feet, his other hand covering his groin.

"Man, Tiff, you know how much I was looking forward to getting it in double digits."

"We'll just have to go again, then!" Touchstone gives him a gleeful grin, then leans forward to plant a little kiss on his cheek. "Win your next fight for me, I don't want you going too low down the ladder."

The two of them walk to the edge of the ring, eventually sliding out of it. Striker still has to waddle a little bit as he goes. "Don't get all cocky now -- you've got eight more wins before you've made up for last year."

"Look who's talking, cocky! You talked all that trash and you barely even lasted long enough for....."

The voices drift off into silence as the pair walk their way out of the Arena tent, Touchstone receiving a bunch of high-fives and "great job!"s on the way out. You look back over to your best friend sitting next to you.

".....She winned!" You smile happily.

"Won."

"It's better than none!"

"No- ugh."

Your best friend stands up and walks away, leaving you alone in your seat.

So, that's what real high-level fighting looks like, then! It looked a little bit dirtier than you expected...... but it's not like you've got to start doing that stuff now, tons of people have tons of different fighting styles. Anyway, if a student at Coinpilfer did it, then it's probably okay, so you shouldn't worry too much about it.

"Fights aren't usually like that."

You turn around to see Nora, standing in the row behind you. You give her a big grin.

"Normally go on way longer, too. That was an alright introduction to what you can expect here, I guess, but the real things are gonna be a lot more to take in. Have fun?"

"Yeah!"

"Good." Nora gives you a loving smile, then makes her way back to that little spot of hers leaning against the stands. Speaking of which, you stand out of your seat too. That was cool, even if it was apparently shorter than normal, but you've got limited time here!
