Totally Tooned?

"Ugh," the young man below was definitely not her type. And what was with the arsenal of toy water guns?

"Clover, watch where you're flying!" the redhead in the green skin-tight catsuit told the blonde in the red skin-tight catsuit.

"I got her, Sam!" the brunette in the yellow skin-tight catsuit called out, banking around to lift her friend up by the pits, careful to stay away from the jets coming from her winged backpack.

"Alex, I - III!!" Clover lifted her toes in time to avoid their collision with the roof top.

Sam was there to pull Alex onto the roof just as the fuel of her friend's jets ran out.

"We have company!" Clover said as her excuse.

"And it's a boy. That's the only thing that seems to get your attention," Alex said.

"That makes our mission all the more urgent," Sam said. "We each have some neutralizing Dip in here," she said, patting her own backpack. "We must get them in as many of the vats as we can."

"But not until after you get some samples, right?" Alex reminded them.

"WOOHP has the formula, but...Something has made ACME ink reactive again. We should find out why. There are still old animation cells throughout the world that may come to life."

"Ooh!" Clover squealed. "I remember vintage toons with handsome movie leading men."

"With your luck, you'd end up having to date Plucky Duck," Alex grinned.

"Plucky Duck?" Sam smiled. "That's your best reference? You don't watch many toons, do you, Alex?"

"I like my animals real," Alex admitted.

Banter over, Sam said, "Let's get down there and dissolve ink. I call dibs on Jessica Rabbit!"
