Tori texts you

You are just about to leave when you feel your phone vibrate in your pocket. You give it a look and see that Tori just texted you.

"Hey. You busy?" She asks.

You aren't sure what to say. You weren't really expecting this. You try to play it cool.

"No not at all what's up?" You text back.

"I need a ride home from a party..."

You wonder if she's being intentionally vague. It wouldn't surprise you. Still, you aren't going to leave her hanging. You probably should continue to play dumb though.

"No problem. What's the address? Oh and how drunk are you? Should I bring any emergency supplies?" You ask.

Your phone buzzes. "Not drunk...came here with a friend but that didn't work out so yeah."

She seems a bit annoyed. Best to stop questioning her. She gives you the address and you leave the party. Obviously since you're there already you just have to sit in your car and text Tori back after a believable amount of time passes. You give it 10 minutes then you start your car and text her that you've arrived. You see her walk out and make a beeline for your car. When she gets inside her face is red with embarrassment.

It's then you realize that you just personally sabotaged her night for your own selfish desires. You might have kept Derek away from her for now but you made her miserable in the process. If you really care about her shouldn't you be respectful of her privacy and decisions? Shouldn't her happiness come first? You feel ashamed of yourself. It might make her mad, but maybe you should come clean. Maybe Tori deserves the truth.
