Too late to try to make anything, so Pizza

Elm decided that it would be impossible to make anything, not like he was really planning on it. Plus he was in the mood for Pizza so hey why not. He started the order only to realize that he should make sure to get something special for Zelda, she probably needed it, and it wasn't like he couldn't afford to be indulgent. Plus, like his mom always said kindness goes a long way or something.

Stepping out back into the garden Elm asked out, "Hey I am getting Pizza, what do you want?"

"What is a Pizza" Zelda asked as she started to pick herself up. Elm gave her an indignant look like she just insulted his own mother.

"Just the best thing created by the Italians, at least I think so" he answered the question then thought about trying to explain what one was. He didn't want to, nor was he sure she would get the idea of it. "Okay how about I'll just pick something for you and see how you feel about it. Also if you want you can start cleaning up you can."

"Sure I guess" was what Elm thought he heard her mutter out in the air. She walked past him inside the house and stopped and looked at him. "Where should I clean myself?"

"I am pretty sure every room has a bathroom attached to it, so your room," Elm told Zelda who just looked at him blankly.

"I don't have a room" she explained to him.

"Then just pick one, we have enough to spare if you couldn't tell" Elm stated jokingly. Zelda nodded and quickly headed off into the living room, picking up what was probably her stuff, though Elm didn't know what that could entail, and she walked into the closet room she could find.

The pizza in a surprising manner got to his house quickly, especially for a house that is probably the furthest one from the rest. As Elm got ready to eat the pizza he saw Zelda come out of her room. Now instead of the maid outfit, she was wearing something much more akin to the blue topped adventuring outfit she wore in the game. It was just a bit more casual in style though. She silently walked over and sat down on the couch next to him. Thoughts filled his mind just staring at her, as her damp golden hair stuck to her face. Elm shook his head as his stomach growled reminding him of what was more important and the plan.

After watching Elm get a slice Zelda repeated what he did and they began to eat. As they ate, Elm just decided to turn the TV onto Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a series he was rewatching. At first, Zelda didn't pay it much mind, but after a while she actually started to pay attention, even asking him some questions he didn't mind answering. As they continued to watch, Elm saw Zelda start to relax a bit, letting her shoulders become loose for the first time since he had met her.

As they finished eating and watching, they both started to pack it up. Despite the training, she got for being a maid, Elm still ended up teaching her a thing or two about putting food up in the modern world. As they finished they were left in the kitchen and now Elm knew the moment was upon them, whether Zelda knew or not.
