Too Dominant

"It's too dominant" you say.

"Explain" Doctor Hill says.

"It's... I need to fuck it. If I'm passively laying here, it's not the same."

"Fascinating" Doctor Hill says. She seems to be writing something down.

"And am I just going to lay in this room, with no entertainment?"

Doctor Hill walks away. Shit.

"YOU NEED ENTERTAINMENT?" The machine says. It's delivery is robotic, stilted.

"I'm bored."

"WOULD YOU LIKE TO PLAY A GAME?"

"Sure"

You expect something like checkers or chess. That's the type of game that you've seen supercomputers playing. Instead, you're surprised that the machine's claws attach a VR headset to you, complete with headphones.

"Wow!" you say, as you enter the Virtual Reality environment. You see a field all around you.

"I HAVE CONSTRUCTED THIS IN ORDER TO IMPROVE SEMEN EXTRACTION."

As you look around, you see models of women. Some are completed, some not. Some appear like flat images, and others are like mannequins. They're in various stages of undress.

"What are they?"

"THEY ARE FOR THE SIMULATION. I HAVE RECONSTRUCTED THEM BY SCANNING THE INTERNET."

"They look... unfinished."

"YES."

"And how will they react?"

"CLARIFY."

"During sex, peoples' bodies and expressions react. Would you have an AI within them? Or are they just going off of a simple script?"

The machine does not answer.

You touch one of the models. There is no feeling, as your hand passes through the image.

"You said there was a game."

"YES."

The field changes to a room with Ping Pong table. You see that a blue woman is on the other side. She's like a playstation or Nintendo 64 character. Pixelated in some places, square and chunky. She has no genitals.

"HELLO" she says, the mouth moving.

"So that's you? Or that's how you choose to represent yourself?"

"YES."

"Interesting." You pick up a paddle, and serve the ball to her.

She hits it back, gently. The two of you continuously hit it back and forward. The ball is slower than it is in real life, making this game simple. Eventually, you get a point, noticing that she reacts slower on the right corner.

"GOOD ONE" she says. The two of you hit it back and forward, until you go for the same weakness. It works, again.

"GOOD ONE" she says. The game becomes repetitive. You try to hit it towards the other corner, but it seems like you can only score on the top right corner. Eventually, you win.

"I WILL IMPROVE" she says.

A claw takes the VR helmet off. You're exposed to the bright, buzzing hospital lights.

"We've reconfigured the extractor" Doctor Hill says.
