What's next?
Tomorrow is an other day
You decide to retire for the day. The weight of the new reality that the rings now offer you is yet to sink in completely. You spend the rest of the evening in your routine tasks before hitting the bed long before your mother is home. "Sweet dreams..." you mutter as you drift off to sleep.
You jolt awake from your bed, gasping as your fingers close around your necklace, confirming it still is in place. "It wasn't a dream... I really was mom back then..." You look around and note that the time was already 6:40. "Shit.. that late?" If you hurried, you could still make it in time for your first class, but that meant having to go on an empty stomach.
Alternatively, you could stay at home and make in time for your second class. You could afford to do so, your attendance record was pretty impeccable. Besides, you wondered what happened to the ring you gave your mom. Did she already give it away? Stay late, and you could find out.
