Tom invites Lauren to his place

“Look,” Tom said. “I like you. I know it’s been literally 2 seconds, but... I’ve got a feeling we can relate to each other... but I’m not comfortable with going over this here. Whenever you’re done with this place, how about you meet me at my place. We can see where things go from there.”

Lauren looked at Tom and contemplated the idea. “But I don’t even really know you,” Lauren said. “Wouldn’t that be a bit...”

“I get it,” Tom said. “I wasn’t expecting anything, but the offer is there. I’ll give you my number. If you want to meet later, call me or text me. Whatever you want to do.”

“Alright, deal,” Lauren said. “Now I gotta be honest. My mom and loser sister are here with me. I think my mom will be annoyed that I ran off. I’ll see you around, Tom.”

“Until we meet again then,” Tom said. “I’ll see you later, Lauren.”

Tom kissed Lauren on the cheek and then walked off. Lauren blushed and bit her bottom lip. She shook her head and looked around to find wherever her mom and sister went.... and they were nowhere to be found. Did they really just ditch her? She supposed that she kinda ditched them. Lauren contemplated about what to do. She could probably just leave if she wanted to... or maybe she could stay and look at one of the exhibits? Or maybe she could get Tom back here and just hang out with him some more...
