Which level does Jasmine choose?
Toddler Level
Jasmine hesitated before marking her choice on the form. Toddler level. It wasn’t as extreme as full infancy, but it still meant giving up most of her independence. She would be dressed in childish clothes, have limited responsibilities, and be expected to act young—but at least she’d still have some control over basic things like walking, feeding herself, and speaking normally.
Her parents needed the money badly, but she wasn’t sure she could handle total helplessness. The toddler tier was a middle ground—enough financial support to lift them out of poverty while allowing her some sense of self. It wouldn’t be easy, but it was better than the alternative.
