You decide to take a stroll, you can still catch on Emily when her shift ends. Plus the lack of technology just begs you to take nature's side and observe.
The day is actually really nice. As you walk around you see you are not the only one who decided that this would be the best day for outdoor activities.
You see a lot of joggers running circles around the lake, the male ones wincing and grimacing under the jeering of female joggers who openly mock their form, breathing, and body types. "Faster, fatass! You call that running? My grandmother moves quicker!" one woman screams at a male jogger running past him.
Students from the local college have moved their afternoon studies to the grass. Female students are pointing and laughing at male ones, whispering insults whenever a guy tries to approach or talk. An older couple passes you; the elderly woman tells her husband, "Stop slouching, you useless sack of bones. Everyone can see how weak you are." The man just keeps walking.
It’s everywhere... You find an unoccupied bench, just on the shore of the lake, and decide it's the perfect spot to think about this surreal situation. As you take a seat...
