They approached the fitting rooms where there was an employee standing there, folding some clothes. Cindy approached and smiled. “Hello, Charlie,” Cindy said. “I’d like to introduce you to Alexa and her mother.”
Charlie looked up from her work and her eyes widened as she saw her high school bully standing with her mom. She hadn’t seen Alexa in multiple years, but she instantly recognized her.
Alexa also recognized Charlie and gulped as she awkwardly waved at her. “They can head into Room 1,” Charlie said as she gestured to the big fitting room.
“Thank you, Charlie. I have to go take a call,” Cindy said. “Let me know when they’re ready to checkout.”
Charlie nodded. “Will do.”
Alexa and her mom headed into the stall and Charlie took a peek at what they had. Charlie raised an eyebrow as she saw the multiple packages of diapers and baby supplies. “Come on, Alexa,” Helen said as she pushed her inside the fitting room. “Start taking your clothes off.”
Alexa noticed the door was still wide open. Helen hadn’t bothered to even shut it. “Mom, please shut the door.”
Helen rolled her eyes and tugged Alexa’s pants down to her ankles.
