To his Residence Hall

Johnny headed out of the auditorium, the South Californian sun beating down hard on all of the students who were off to their individual dorms. Johnny made his way back to his dorm, his dad's big Suburban still out front, with his dad leaning on the side. Johnny walked up to his dad and gave him a hug.

"So what was that meeting all about?" his dad asked inquisitively, noticing his son's hair was a little damp.

"Oh nothing really, just some info about safety on campus and what rules we have to follow. Ya know, just stuff like that." Johnny left out the little detail about having been swallowed whole by a crocodile.

"Alright buddy, well I moved all of your stuff into your room, I didn't know that you signed up for a single though! Guess you lucked out huh? But, anyways I've gotta go bud, be safe, and I'm only a call away if you need me, ok?" Johnny and his dad hugged goodbye for the last time for a while, and Johnny watched as the big Chevy drove off.

'I wander what he meant about me having a single.' Johnny thought to himself as he used his campus card to unlock the lobby of his dorm.

Families were still wandering about in the lobby, moving belongings in the elevator, hugging goodbye, and new friends being made. All the while the resident assistants were guiding people to their floors and their rooms. Johnny stepped into the packed elevator, the RA asking the family and Johnny what floors they were on. At the same time, Johnny and the young member of the Rhino family said the eleventh floor. Both of the young boys looked at each other, Johnny looking at the young man who stood about 3 feet taller than he.

"Hey! Awesome, what room are you? What room are you in?" the Rhino asked the little human.

"I'm in room 1107, how about you?"

"1106, oh so close! But hey, we get to be neighbors!" The rhino was very friendly despite his imposing stature.

The elevator dinged letting the family of Rhinos and Johnny off on the top floor of their building. They walked down the hallway, talking until they reached their rooms, then both turned and entered their rooms.

Johnny looked around his stuff set near the end of the single bed. The bed, however, was huge. The bed had to be king sized, Johnny looked around the room. Everything else made it seem like the room was meant for two people, there were two wardrobes and two desks as well.

It took about an hour for Johnny to get all of his stuff moved in, and all his electronics set up. Johnny claimed only one of the wardrobes set up his stuff on one of the desks.

Johnny was about to sit down and play on his Xbox, when a knock on the door interrupted him.
