Matt's newly gained social graces saved his face from betraying the truth, or so he hoped. "So lets get down to business. I have a project that I've been working on." Her eyes glanced down, and Matt's eyes followed, stopping on her cleavage momentarily. "-need you to" she continued, pulling Matt out of his reverie, a thought in the back of his mind chastised himself for never practicing any self control of his libido the last few month. "-act as a guard while I perform my monthly ritual. I won't go to far into the details as far as the ritual, but it seems some old spirit is drawn to it."

Mathew was deeply fascinated by all this. This implied so much. The fact there were old spirits, which seems to be outside a summoner's control, and the fact they were drawn to whatever she was up to. But one thing bothered him. "Why me then? Surely the grand Magnus of the Tempest has no need of another summoner?" He said, putting on an air of condensation, happy to be able to demand something, turning the tide of the rift of knowledge between them.

"Well you see, that is the tricky part. Last time I attempted the ritual, it failed due to the spirit's intervention. It seems this spirit survives in part by draining spirits of magical essence. If I wasn't occupied with my ritual I wouldn't need your help, essentially I need another summoner to supply defensive spirits with magical power while I perform the ritual. I believe you- " she stretched out a finger in his direction when saying this, "would be perfect for the job. Powerful enough for the job and... willing enough..." she paused here seductively sliding her tongue over her upper lip.
