To church

At Joseph’s compound:

“John son what are you doing here, there’s work to do!” John nodded as he fell to his knees and bowing his head said, “I need help father, the resistance has taken everything, Fall’s End is there’s, the Seed Ranch is there’s, they even have destroyed the YES sign!” Joseph stopped and looking down at him spoke, “John you must go back and convert the Sinner at all costs, remember your task!” John nodded before asking, “Maybe Jacob could help with his militia!” Joseph shook his head before looking at him said, “Let God guide you in your task!” John went to protest but seeing Jacob walk into the church annoyed he looked at John, “Please I need your help the resistance has taken everything!” Jacob laughed before looking over to him said, “You let them takeover, the resistance is the weakest here!! Don’t tell me you are listening to his ramblings again?” Joseph went to speak but seeing Jacob pull out his knife said, “I have more pressing matters like the whitetails!” John went to protest with, “Playing soldiers again!” Jacob laughed before saying, “At least my opposition are trained fighters and not just some farmers and shop keepers!” John went to protest as Faith walked in and said, “Boys, Boys boys stop fighting!” John looked at her and shot, “Well you area isn’t covered in resistance fighters all down to the Rook boy, he should have been shot the first time I had him captured!” Jacob was quick enough to say, “He would have had a bullet between his eyes!” Joseph shook his head as he spoke, “Go now. To the church and convince that sinner he needs to atone, go forth and fear not what could happen!” he walked away as Faith joked, “If he comes to my kingdom, I’ll take care of him, I always said he should have been on this side not there’s!”

Confrontation:

Life for once wasn’t horrific, me and Grace were just cleaning up some small areas of Peggies whilst the others fled over to Faith’s territory and looking around it was then when we heard into the walkie talkie, a voice that had been silence for the last few days, “Your actions have consequences. Deputy. I’ve gathered all your friends in Fall’s End to atone for your sins. You’re are welcome to join us. After all, if it weren’t for you we wouldn’t be in this predicament... this is your last chance to say Yes. Deputy don’t be late!” I nodded before climbing into our car said, “Grace you defend the outside of the building whilst I confront the douchebag!” she nodded as we sped off back to Fall’s End.

I rushed up to the church door and opening it, I was met by a peggie who attacked me and knocking me out I was drowsy where I was dragged back. When I woke up John spoke as he pinned me down holding his tattoo iron “hold still” as he engraved started to engrave the the tattoo word of “Wrath”on my chest and staying still he said, “Sin must be exposed, so it may be absolved, if we hide our sin, we hide ourselves... you will not hide any longer, your true self will spill out on this floor for all to see! Ahhhh...perfect” I looked up as he jumped up and put his tools down as Peggies picked me up, “If Mohammed won’t come to the mountains, then bring the mountain to Mohammed. Let’s begin!” I laughed before saying, “You are a fool. Can’t you see, Joseph is using you. If he cared he wouldn’t have sent you alone. As soon as you leave people will be taking shots at you. For what? A zero chance that I will willingly join you!” I was dragged forward as Jerome, Nick and Mary were there held and looking at me Mary apologised, “Sorry!” I shook my head before seeing John knock Jerome’s bible to the floor. “I thought a friendly face might make atonement easier...” John walked behind Jerome as they stared at Nick, “our devoted” pause but then Jerome was reminded there is a gun pointed at his head, “...we are gathered here to bear witness...” Jerome remained silent before John hit him with the gun. Jerome fell to the floor causing Mary to resists, “You son of a bitch!” before being retrained by two Peggies. I laughed before saying, “Mary, don’t be rude. Come on it’s not our fault his parents didn’t want him, must have been a fuck up because Joseph doesn’t want him either...” he held his gun to Jerome’s head and shrugging I said, “Now what would your father say if you killed a man of god?” Jerome picked up the other book (his version) whilst John laughed, “Hahahahaha...let’s try that again. Hahah. Our devoted. We are gathered here to bear witness...” Jerome reluctantly spoke, “Our devoted. We are gathered here to bear witness...” John then continued with, “To those willing to atone to their sins!” and Jerome copied, “To those willing to atone to their sins!” he looked at John before saying, “Will you. Nick Rye place your hand upon The word of Jospeh?” Nick shook his head before snapping, “Oh Fuck that. Nah, I ain’t ever giving in to that psychopath!” he tried to break free but being restrained John mocked him with, “There it is greed. Always thinking of yourself..” Nick looked at him and spitting at him John sincerely whispered something into Nicks ear, “Nick?” Nick looked at me before whispering sorry said to John, “Yes. Yes I will atone” John was handed his knife from a peggie and Nick’s eyes growing wide cried, “No. No.” the others with me tried to break free but was held back as I slid the hidden blade out to cut my bonds as we were held back and Nick screamed as John’s knife started to cut away at his flesh and holding it up as a trophy spoke, “The power of yes. The power to take away your sins. The power to set you free!” he stapled it to the wall and looking at me Jerome was pushed forward whilst John spoke, “Will you deputy place your hand on the word of Joseph?” Jerome looked at me as he asked, “Will you deputy place your hand on the word of Joseph” John then spoke the next line, “And renounce your sins and your transgressions.” Jerome then followed with, “And renounce your sins and your transgressions.” Jerome showed me the book and nodding I winked as he said, “Say Yes!” John walked up to me as I lifted my hands to stick the blade into the Peggies heart, “It’s just one word!” I smiled as the guard fell and pulling out the gun tried for a shot injuring his ear, “Gun! Gun! GO!” a peggie snapped and grabbing the Peggies rifle started to fire at the others, “Mary, help Nick. I will help Rook!” I lifted my finger as I spoke, “I am already covered” there were gun shots as Peggies screamed, “Sniper, a sniper, she has shot John in the leg!” and walking to the door I snapped, “Who needs hope when I have Grace!” as we heard, “Get him to his plane!”
