To a new school on Port Island

Time waits for no one. All are equal in its flow, all lives born to their ends. You, who would protect the glimmer of the finite future. You have a single year. Go forth, and live in the time given to you.

Even in these halcyon days of repose, let your heart guide you and never stray from its path. You are inside the New City passenger station..

The train announcer thingy goes off.

"Your attention please. Today's train schedule will be modified due to rail switching malfunction. We apologise for nay inconvenience. This is the final train bound for Port Island. Please board before the scheduled departure time"

You arrived at the New City station so late because of this. It's almost midnight. Something about the atmosphere seems odd. You'd better hurry up tot he dorm. As you walk from the station, you notice coffin-like objects lining the deserted city and an eerily gigantic moon. New City Dormitory. This is the dorm mentioned in your admission pamphlet. That's there you'll be staying from now on. It was just up ahead.

You entered the dorm and saw a mysterious girl. She looked to be your age, had black hair and pale skin, like a Tim Burton character. She was wearing a black and white prison uniform.

"Welcome" th mysterious girl said "You're late. I've been waiting a long time. If you wish to proceed, sign your name here. It's a contract. There's no need to be scared. All it says is that you see accept full responsibility for your actions"

She was holding out a piece of paper out to you. Something was written on the piece of paper she's holding out to you.

"I choseth this fate of my own free will"

Below is a blank to sign your name.

You wrote down 'John Doe' on the piece of paper.

"Good" the mysterious girl said "Time is something no one can escape. It delivers us all to the same end. You can't pull your ears or cover your eyes. And so it begins"

The girl disappeared as if melting into the darkness.

"Who's there!!?" a boy's voice asked "How are you hear at this hour? Don't tell me...

The boy is holding a gun. He had brown hair. There was another boy with him with black hair. The brown haired boy pointed his gun at you.

"Wait!!" the other boy says.

"Huh!!?" the first boy said "The lights..."

"I didn't think you'd arrive so late" the other boy said "My name is Tom. I'm one of the students who live in this dorm"

"Who's she?"the first boy asked.

"She's a transfer student. It as a last-minute decision to assign her here" Tom said "She'll eventually be moved to a room in the girl's dorm"

"Is it okay for her to be here?" the first boy asks.

"I guess we'll see" Tom answers "This is Aiden"

"Call me Aiden"

"Why do you have a gun?" I asked.

"Huh?" Aiden asked "Well, uh, it's sorta like a hobby. I mean not a hobby, but..."

"You know how it is these days. It's for self-defence" Tom said "It's getting lat. You'll find you room at the en of he all on the second floor. You things should already be there. Why don't you get some rest?"

"Oh, I'll show you the way. Follow me" Aiden said. He lead you upstairs to your room. You're really not all that thrilled about living in a boys' dorm. Not that you don't like boys, I guess you're just not all that smooth. Hopefully the transfer to the girls' dorm will go through soon too, though you don't know if you'll get along with them any better. Dormitory, 2nd floor hallway, at the furthest door "Here's your room. Pretty easy to remember, huh? Since it's all the way at the end here? Um, do you have any questions?"

The one that was eating at your mind was who exactly that kid with the contract was.

"Does that girl live here?"

"What girl?" Aiden asks "What are you talking about? C'mon, that's not funny" Aiden doesn't seem to know what you're talking about. Now he thinks you're crazy. You're already off to a great start "Uh... Can I ask you something? On your way here from the station, was everything okay?"

Well, no, everything turned green and bloody and coffin-y but youcan't tell him that when he already thinks you're seeing creepy girls in prison outfits the dorm. So you play dumb. Maybe you were just seeing things because you were tired.

"Yeah"

"Huh..." Aiden says "Well, okay. Don't worry about it, then. I better get going. Um... I'm sure you still have questions, but let's ave them for later, okay? Good night"

Aiden walked down the stairs. Life in the dorms starts today... The room came pre-furnished and everything. You're spent. You should put my things in the closet and get to bed early. School starts tomorrow. You should go to sleep early so you're ready for the first day of school.
