To a makeshift shooting range

James leads you to a secluded room away from the occupied hotel rooms. He opens the door and you can see the walls are covered in some materials, and there are several targets at the opposite end of the room.

"This used to be the gym," James explains. "I moved the what was left working of the gym equipment into a separate room and soundproofed this room. I figured a shooting range would be important to train our members."

"That's a really smart idea, James."

"Thanks. I'm glad you think so. Now I have a question for you, Alana. Have you ever fired that revolver you're carrying?"

You look at James and embarrassingly admit that you have never shot it.

"It's good that you haven't had to use it yet," James reassures you. "Unfortunately, it would be naive to say that you will never use it, so you should know how. That's a .357 Magnum, not an easy gun to fire without experience. Aim the gun down at the targets and shoot the middle target."

You pull out your father's revolver and point it towards the middle of the target. The only gun you have ever fired was your shotgun on a hunting trip with your dad years ago. Both you and your dad pretty much agreed that guns aren't for you after that. You try to copy a shooting stance they you've seen in action movies. You pull the trigger and are shocked by the amount of recoil. The gun nearly flies out of your hand. The bullet hit nowhere near the target. You look at James, once again, embarrassed.

"Don't worry, Alana, I was the same way when I started shooting." James reaches down and pulls a pistol from his holster. "Here, this is a 9mm Glock. Much less recoil and very simple to fire. Try this one."

You reach over and take the Glock, handing over your revolver to James. You point the gun down at the middle target, James stops you before you shoot. He comes over to you and moves your arms into a proper stance. Then he reaches down to space your legs. After several alterations, James steps back, explaining how to sight the gun and how to shoot accurately. You pull the trigger and hit only inches from the bullseye. James congratulates you and tells you to keep shooting.

You shoot at the target for a little over an hour, by the time you are done, you are feeling pretty confident about shooting the gun accurately. James tells you that you should keep the Glock and he'll keep your revolver with him.

"Alright, but that's my dad's revolver. Or... was. Please keep it close."

"I'll guard it with my life," James jokes, he leans in and gives you a kiss. You kiss him back and it turns into a heated make out. He breaks the kiss, and hugs you close to him. "Be careful out there, Alana."

"I will James, I'll be back before you know it."
