To a Huge Field

It didn't take them long. They basically blinked and the group was standing in an open field of green with a few trees here and there for shade. The sky was clear, the sun shining down on the beautiful virtual landscape.

In one direction, they could see a mountain way off in the distance. On the other side was a forest that led towards a kingdom of some sort. On either side of them was just more plains and hills.

Alex looked around for any sign of life, confused at this rocky beginning to the game. He didn't even get to pick his class. Surely this game couldn't be that good if he couldn't even be want he wanted to be, right?

Yasmin yelled out in frustration suddenly, stomping her foot. "Are you kidding me? I'm out in a field with nothing but panties and a knife. This game sucks."

Nick walked over and put an arm around her shoulder, taking the opportunity to get closer to her. "Hey, it's not so bad. At least we didn't spawn in a dungeon. Besides, you're the one that took your bra off. Not that I'm complaining! I'm just saying..."

Lucas walked up and immediately separated Nick from his sister before Nick could finish what he was saying. He then looked off towards the kingdom. "Don't worry, Yasmin. Let's just keep playing and we'll see if it gets better. Besides, think about the money we'll get."

"But I figured we'd be having at least a little fun. I was hoping to stab somebody."

Allison laughed and locked her arm through Yasmin's. "Don't worry. First monster we encounter, you can stab them to your hearts content."

Yasmin smiled with a soft laugh while Alex walked up to the group and pointed towards the kingdom off in the distance. "I think that's gonna be our best bet. It's the only sign of life right now so we'll probably find people there."

Yasmin then sighed again and looked at the distance between them and the kingdom. "That's a lot of walking, Alex. Can we just chill here and take a nap for the three hours?"

"We could... Except you're forgetting that those three hours are gonna feel like two weeks here. Besides, it's an adventure."

Yasmin grumbled a bit but she didn't argue as the group started to make their way towards the forest between them and the kingdom.
