To Jennifer's apartment - No Pulses

"Let me at least offer you the coffee," Frank says as you are approaching the counter.

"Thanks, man!" You say. Your old friend puts some bills on the counter and smiles at the towering waitress. He left a decent tip, you note. You really don't know if he makes a lot or if he is just that nice. Hell, probably he just did it to impress the hottie behind the counter.

As the two of you put on your coats, you check your phone, but there's still no signal.

"So, I'm following you then?" You ask Frank the moment the two of you are out of the coffee shop. Frank smiles at you and points at his car. As you step onto the sidewalk, you glance across the street. Barring children, there are no short females anymore there. Six feet seems to be something like the new minimum height for an adult woman.

You make your drive to an apartment block you are not familiar with. Frank is acting like nothing is wrong. You help Frank bring some boxes from his car to the elevator and then the two of you ride up to the fifth floor.

"Hey Jen, remember John?" Says your friend while hugging his sister. She smiles politely at you and waves while Tyler comes out of the kitchen. She is very tall. Like, really, really tall. Taller than the waitress. It makes the hug look somewhat comically mismatched even though Tyler isn't exactly short.

"Champ! Is that you? Long time no see!" You never actually talked to Tyler, but he still remembers the nickname some jocks used to call you when your father called you like that in front of the whole campus during moving day. But even in the presence of her husband you can't take your eyes of Jen, those hips of hers, those calves... Her legs are something else. That is the only way to describe them. Something. Else.

You know Tyler means no offence, and you are too mesmerized by new Jennifer to be hurt about. You chuckle to hide how you barely resist ogling Jennifer's figure and go shake his hand.

"Let's do it. We still have some more boxes to move around." Says Jen and the four of you start doing your job...
