To Claim Sansa but deciding to be cautious about it

A/N: Well, as of this writing, the voting results are 9 votes in favor of claiming Sansa and 5 against between comments and Private Messages. So, we are going through the claiming route but for those that voted against that, I decided to add a little something that aims towards your preferences. Thanks for voting everyone! And I hope you enjoy the following sequence of chapters, starting with this one.

As much as Jon wanted to be impulsive for once and take his sister right then and there, it was simply too risky. He had set too many plans in motion to see his hard work unravel. So, even if his sister had a special place in his heart that had grown bigger over years of absence, he couldn't prevent the cautious part of him that had become second nature ever since realizing the sheer potential of his Written Ownership powers to take precedence in his mind.

However, he could still try to accommodate her wish and have a passionate night with her, after taking some precautions to make sure they have some privacy. And then, after she had given him her virginity as she wanted, he could make things safer by claiming her. After all, once she offers her virtue to him her betrothal to Joffrey would be called off anyway. Still, he preferred to get that announcement out of the way in a more controlled fashion so placing his mark of ownership on her was simply a must.

In the end, he held Sansa's hands and looked at her straight in the eye.

"I would be lying if I said I hadn't dreamt of making love to you more than once," He admitted, which made her inhale sharply. "Because you are right, Sansa. Absence does make the heart grow fonder. So, if this is what you truly want, sister, then it would be my highest honor to become the first man to lay with you."

"Oh, Jon!" She cried out as she moved to embrace him. "You have no idea how happy I am to hear you say that."

"Believe me, I suspect I understand better than you think," He said softly, whispering in her ear.

When she moved to kiss him full on the lips, however, he broke awake.

"Not here," He stressed as quickly as he could. "Anyone could stumble upon us out in the open. But don't worry, I have a few ideas to ensure we can have enough privacy for an unforgettable night in a few hours. I just need a bit of time organizing my plan but I will order one of my trusted followers to send for you once most of the Castle sleeps. And then, I will gladly give you your wish," He said with what was sure to be a heated look.

He noticed that Sansa shivered for a moment and he suspected it wasn't from the cold. She looked at him up and down with lust in her gaze but eventually, she took a deep breath and shook her head as if to clear it.

"Well, then once I return to my chambers after supper I will be anxiously waiting for the right moment to make my way into your arms," She said with a bright smile. "Please, don't keep me waiting too much."

"After your offer? I wouldn't dare," Jon assured her, smirking in the process.

They looked at each other for a long moment, clearly unable to stop themselves from imagining each other without their clothes on. But before long, the Bastard of Winterfell sighed.

"Well, I better make my way back to the keep a few minutes before you start," He noted. "Just in case your mother has already arrived so that she doesn't notice us getting back from the usually lonely Godswood together. No need to give her even more reason to try to keep us as far away from each other as possible."

Sansa frowned at that but ultimately nodded. "Very well then. See you at supper."

And with that, Jon headed back to the castle, feeling an abundance of anticipation flowing through his body now that he knew what awaited him tonight. So, he quickened his pace, determined to get everything ready as soon as possible.
