To "Bond" with Diana and the Amazons

“Hello, Diana.”

Those two words pulled Princess Diana out of her stupor, and she quickly bowed towards the naked, smiling Goddess.

“Oh, Great Aphrodite, we are honored that you would grace our island-“ she started to say. However, she was interrupted by Aphrodite, who gently left her head back up.

“No need for that, Princess,” she spoke lightheartedly. She continue, turning to the other Amazons, “My dear followers, I have come to your island in search of rest and relaxation. I ask that you would attend to me during my short stay here.”

Of course, not one of them could refuse one of their Goddesses, with many of them continuing to praise her.

“Excellent, now Princess Diana, if you don't mind escorting me to the Queen, so that I can formally announce my presence. Let us take the scenic route as well, I want to see as much of your lovely home as possible.”

“Yes, Lady Aphrodite,” Diana replied, and the two of them began walking towards the main palace, the other Amazons following behind.

However, truth be told, Aphrodite has not been entirely honest with her followers. Much has changed since she and her fellow Goddesses created the Amazons, and while she wasn't as involved with them as Artemis or Athena, she hopes to change that by deepening her connection to these warrior women, in more ways than one.

Especially, she thought, Diana. She remembered the day the young princess was born to Queen Hippolyta, the blessings she and her fellow Gods granted her, and looking at her now as an adult, she was pleased at how beautiful she had grown.

Continuing to smile at Diana, Aphrodite was forming a plan to make the princess hers.
