Chapter 145 by CaptainPulse

How does the bath go?

Tina has to run it first

The good news for the wayward trio was that the barn was already outfitted was a large wooden tub and two large sponges. The bad news was that it was empty, and the pump was easily 50 yards away from the barn. Hilda sighed, realizing that they'd have to carry the water by the bucketful for a while to fill up the the tub. "It looks like we'll have to get to work if we want to get clean before morning."

"But I'm tired." Tina whined. "How am I supposed to fill this whole thing up after walking all the way here?"

"Sweetheart, this is the kind of work people do in the real world." Hilda replied. She wasn't sure of this, mind you, but given the amount of work she saw the servants doing back home, she figured it was a safe bet. "Don't worry, though. We'll all help."

"We will?" L'Abbee asked before Hilda elbowed him in the stomach. "I mean, yeah, of course we will."

"Oh, you're sweet, baby, but my mother's right. I have to get used to working hard for what I want if I'm going to be independent." She turns and starts running out to the water pump, her little rump shaking with every step.

As Tina carried the water into and out of the barn, running like a sprinter, Hilda laid herself out on a pile of hay, spreading her legs and letting her hair flow down her back. L'Abbee walked over to her, trying to avoid looking at her crotch, and asked tentatively, "Shouldn't we be helping her? I feel kinda bad letting her do all the work for us."

"I wouldn't worry. She's more capable than we give her credit for." Hilda watched as Tina ran in, awkwardly carrying a large bucket, squishing her breasts against it, and dumped the water into the tub. "You know, sometimes I can't help but feel like I made a mistake along the way. Like I'm a bad mother."

"Don't say that. You've raised a fine daughter. Look at her."

Tina ran in with another bucket, tossing it into the tub before slipping on the sponge and falling into the shallow tub. "I'm okay!" She said, holding a thumbs-up.

Cringing, L'Abbee continued. "Yeah, she's a bit... free-spirited, but faces her problems head-on." He turned and smiled at Hilda. "I get the feeling she gets that from you."

Blushing and parting her hair, Hilda replied, "That'd be a losing bet. I spoiled her rotten growing up, giving everything she wanted. I couldn't think of any other way to be a mother. And looking at her now... I can't help but think that she's happier now than she ever was at home."

L'Abbee sat down in the hay next to Hilda. "I know she'd never say this, but I think Tina's happy that you're here with her, helping out as she grows independent. And for what it's worth, so am I."

"Oh, stop, your wife's right there."

L'Abbee chuckled. "True, true. Then again, we haven't exactly been shy these past few days. Maybe I just got carried away." The drow laid his head on the hay. "I should be thinking of you as my mother-in-law, though, shouldn't I?"

Hilda looked at him and smiled. "Of course, though I think you're right. We're a little past formalities at this point." After a moment of silence, during which Tina easily carried two more buckets of water in, Hilda decided to venture a risky question. "So, how did you and Tina... y'know... meet?"

"You mean, how did we get married?"

Hilda blushed again. "To put it bluntly, yes. Don't get me wrong, I like you, and I know Tina's crazy about you, but I'm her mother. I worry, you know?"

L'Abbee watched as his wife ran back out to the water pump, and his smile faltered. "To be honest, I'm starting to think it was an accident. She seemed rather confused after our consummation, as if she wasn't expecting me to be so friendly. I wonder... did she mean to get married at all?" He shook his head. "I don't know, maybe I'm overthinking things. I love her, and like you said, she clearly loves me. That should be enough."

Hilda looked at the distressed drow for a moment, and was about to say something when a loud splash jolted her up. She looked over to see Tina lounging in the tub, her nudity finally looking somewhat appropriate for the first time in days. "Bath's ready you two. Or am I interrupting something."

Hilda's face turned bright red as she rolled herself out of the hay. "Perish the thought. I would never intrude upon your marriage, dear."

Tina scoffed. "Mother, I've seen you and father have sex with the servants more times than I can count. If there's one thing I learned from you, it's that love should be open and free. Now, are you going to get in the bath you insisted we take or not?"

Is it finally bath time?
