You were on your way out when, on one of the TV screens, you saw a report about a mixed match coming up today. According to the commentators, it was quite the pairing, as any time they’d clashed previously “sparks would fly!” and various other over-dramatic exclamations. Apparently, it was different from the standard EF match, and the match would only end upon one fighter’s submission to the other.
The most important part was that it was set to start reasonably soon, and it would be open to watching nearby! You hadn’t watched an EroFights match yourself, and this sounded as good a time as any to make a start.
You made your way to the arena and were lucky enough to grab a seat in the front row. Extremely lucky it would turn out because, as it got closer and closer to the start of the match, the room filled with more and more people until it was pretty much a full house.
The two of them entered to their own theme music – this really was a big deal! – before being joined by a referee. Though with little in the way of rules, the ref was pretty much just there to recognise whoever submitted.
It was time for the festivities to begin, and you watched as the referee – and the crowd – counted them down.
