Time to regroup

Albeit Ryu's rash actions managed to get the rear working again, there was no denying they were still outnumbered ten to three and even if he did some damage to those monkeys, there was no assurance they'd stay down.
Moreover Fira's situation was also unknown and even more outnumbered than them so... since it came to this, was there even still a point to keep the vanguard and rear separated?

The one on her back and the other on her blade were promptly ignored, or rather, as she closed in on the others she slammed the one clinging to her weapon against a babooch leaping at Lia.

The mage paid the favour back by throwing a wind blade that beheaded the guy clinging on the knights back.

Now that they were all back together, while the fight wouldn't get any easier, it would still be safer as the two melee could defend both sides while the casters watched their back.
Ryu focused on intercepting any leaping monkey.
Fira mowed down those that came too close.
Lia sniped those who kept some distance.
Niah'la made sure everyone could fight at their best without worry for injuries.

It took some time indeed, but eventually all the babooches were dead, and another 15 kills awarded to our Pink Lilies.

Moreover, with the threat gone, now they had finally secured the area around the pool and could get their needed and earned rest.
