Time for a serious talk

As the three returned to camp, Jaune noticed an immediate sadness looming over everyone.

"I'll be patrolling the surround area for a bit" Ooblek announced "Please take this time to refreh and unwind before bed. We will be up bright and early tomorrow!"

And with that, he zoomed off with a speed Jaune didn't think even Ruby could manage.

Everyone sat in silence for a bit - save for Ren who seemed to be sleeping already - before Jaune finally spoke up.

"Alright. So... Is this about Professor Ooblek talking to each of us?"

They all sat silently, even Nora and Yang - which Jaune found a bit surprising.

"Ma--- Jaune.." Blake began, cutting herself off from calling him 'Master' just in case "when he asked you, what did you say?"

Jaune sighed

"I told him I wasn't sure what I wanted when I first joined. But then I found it."

They all looked up at him. They were all still sad, but at least intrigued by what he had to say.

"I don't know if you all feel the same, but I love you. All of you. You're.... My girls." He said with a gentle smile "and I decided that I won't let anything happen to you. I'm a Huntsman so that I can protect the people who I've grown so close to. And once we're away from Beacon, once we're Huntsmen and Huntresses out on our own... I want us to still be together. Protecting one another and... Well, loving one another.

"Heh. You mean we'll all be your wives?" Yang said, half jokingly.

"Maybe" he answered with a seriousness that Yang wasn't expecting. Her eyes sparkled as he said that.

"All I'm saying is that... I don't know what I came to Beacon in search of. But now that I have it, I'm not letting it go. And I hope you all feel the same."

The girls all sat quietly for a bit. Jaune noticed tears in some of their eyes - most notably Blake, Weiss, and Pyrrha.

Yang finally stood up.

"As de facto uh..." She looked around for any sign of Ooblek before whispering "harem leader" then piping back up "I... Join in Jaune's thinking. We may be teams JNBY and RNNW now. But one day... We'll all be one team. We basically already are. And it's not just us. Coco, Velvet, Glynda, Celestia, those damn twins, Weiss's sister... Maybe more. We're a family. We look out for each other. And despite our differences we... Love each other. So..."

Yang stuck her hand out, palm down.

"I declare a new team. One where we aren't divided. Team Arcon. A mix of Jaune's name, and Beacon - which made all of this possible. But we can't have a team name without a team. So... Who's in?"

Jaune smiled at her and placed his hand over hers

"This is why you're my favorite little chicken" he said, somewhat teasing

"Hey! I'm being serious!" She whined.

"I know you are" Blake added with a smile as her hand joined in.

"And you're right. It's us against the world. Team Arcon" Pyrrha said as she added her hand.

"I'd have picked a better name, but unlike you, my brains fill my head - not those overinflated tits." Weiss jibed with a smirk "but regardless. I'm with you."

"Heck yeah!" Ruby and Nora boomed simultaneously.

"Rrarf!" Zwei added as he hopped up towards their hands and landed on them. Blake tried to recoil back, but unfortunately for her, her hand was sandwiched.

"Even Zwei's in!" Ruby laughed

"No..." Blake whined.

"Alright. Team Arcon starts today. One... Two... Three...!"

"Arcon!" Everyone cheered as they threw their hands skyward, sending Zwei up into the air with a smile.
