Time for Calculus

Jacks gets to Calculus early and see's Kat already sitting at the back of the room by herself, he goes over and sits next to her.

"Hey Kat, " he said trying to make pleasantries, he thought it was best not to jump right into the matter at hand.

"Hii," she said innocently.

"I don't know, those problems got me feeling stressed out last night." she said, referring to the matter at hand.

"Yeah I thought we did them in class? what was that about?" he said

"I just had another look at the problems and they just didn't seem right to me, and i knew you'd have the answer, sorry if I woke you up though." she said

"I had just plugged in my phone, i wasn't really asleep yet." he said

"Why were you up so late?" she asked kind of suspiciously

"Oh just messing around on my phone, nothing important," he said. He didn't want to tell her what he was actually doing, she seems like the jealous type, and he needs to avoid that if he wants to get close with her. "Why were you up so late?"

"Oh um, nothing..." she said nervously

"Nothing? Absolutely nothing?" he asked

Kat rolled her eyes and looked at him in what only can be described as an alluring, and yet adorable kind of way. Like she was a trying to distract Jack form the question and take him somewhere else entirely. Her eyes were an invitation, like a vampire leading a helpless man into her lair, and knowing it was a trap, but not wanting to turn back. It's like she was inviting him into her world, where she made the rules and you couldn't get out without breaking down the walls, but then the walls fall in and on top of you instead of out. It's like she knew how this would end and there was nothing he could do about it. It was a look of 'You belong to me now'.

Her eyes froze Jack for a moment. "Wait so nothing?" he asked again.

Kat sighed and giggled as she turned around in her seat as the rest of the students walked in as the bell rung. Why wouldn't she just answer him?
